Sigurborg's home is centrally-located, very spacious, and offers a free parking spot. But it is the sense of design (plants, furniture, family photos, etc) that is memorable.I highly recommend staying there.

Very well located property.

Property is well located. It’s close to shopping and restaurants. It is easy to get outside of Reykjavik to tour the island. Owners were very pleasant to deal with.

Amazing home in an amazing location!

Five-star experience! A unique and lovely home in the perfect Reykjavík location: steps away from excellent restaurants, close to the main shopping district, and still a quiet, cozy home away from home. Creative vibe with amazing art, comfortable beds, great light (and super clean) this was the perfect place to relax and recharge after days in town or days exploring and hiking outside Reykjavík. Excellent communication as well. Highly recommend and we hope to stay here again!

Best Location in Reykjavík!

This very spacious flat with a private parking space right next to the entrance is probably in the most perfect downtown location in Reykjavik. A couple of very reasonably priced (by Icelandic standards which are usually very expensive) restaurants are located just a few steps away. Snaps is just across the street and Thrir Frakkar is only a three-four minute walk away. You can reach almost anything in downtown Reykjavík in less than 15 minutes of leisurely walk through the beautiful capital city.

Perfect location in Reykjavik

This very soulful apartment is within walking distance to everything you need. It was a quick and convenient walk from Bus stop #2. The very homey home has everything you could need when traveling, including use of a washer/dryer. The property owners are very attentive and accessible and their hospitality overwhelms. You will feel like you’re visiting your Icelandic cousins! Reykjavik is not a fancy town, yet it charms as much as the Champs Elysees!

Unforgettable experience at Reykjavík 101

We stayed at Reykjavik 101 for our first adventure of exploring Iceland. We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment and think that we were very lucky to find it. The apartment locates at the centre of Reykjavik. You can reach all the amenities by foot. The neighbour hood is quiet and friendly. The owner of the property is very thoughtful and helpful. We have all the support from her before and during our stay which we are very grateful. The apartment has everything with which you would need to run your life. The lounge and dinner is very spacious and the main bedroom is also large with many storage area. The bathroom is well-decorated and it is so comfortable to use. I have to say that the apartment is a home with soul. It is a very special place with its own unique history. We were very lucky to find Sigurborg's apartment. We had a wonderful holiday and got good rest at this apartment. It will be an unforgettable experience for us. Thank you for everything.

Very nice, central location

The owner met us when we arrived and gave us a tour, explaining various features of the place. It was spacious and very nice. The location is centrally located and we walked everywhere within Reykjavik. There was also easy access to the main roads for road trips, once we learned the network of one way streets in the area. Overall, it was what we expected and we enjoyed our trip.

Wonderful House in Reykjavik

Sigurborg and Hanna Maria were perfect hosts and provided insightful information about the area. The house is perfectly situated. All of the Reykjavik attractions are easily reachable with less than 30 minutes walking. It also provides an easy access to the western and southern parts of Iceland with most of adventures within 90 minutes driving. We had an awesome stay! Thank you Sigurbirg and Hanna Maria.

Lovely home in a great location

We loved staying at this apartment. The rooms were super comfortable and the apartment was stylish and open. The neighborhood is lively, with bars and restaurants nearby, but also quiet and inviting.

Smashing!!!!

This is one of the MOST beautiful VRBO residences we have ever stayed in, and we are frequent stayers as well as hosts of our own. A great location for exploring and wandering downtown Reykjavik, easy access to restaurants, shopping and groceries. The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated, and there is nothing, absolutely nothing, lacking. The owners are delightful. We hope to visit this lovely home again soon. Thank you so much for a glorious end to our beautiful Icelandic vacation of 2021. Peace.

The best spot in Reykjavík!

This was the perfect location for us during our trip. It is located in a vibrant neighborhood but setback enough to be quiet and peaceful. A short walk to great restaurants and museums, and Hallgrimskirkja, the famous church. The apartment itself was very comfortable with lots of space, and the bed was very comfortable. Our host met us promptly to acclimate us to our home away from home and the neighborhood, and was always quick to answer questions we had, both before and during the trip. All in all this was an amazing adventure and the perfect base from which to venture into Iceland! 5 stars is not enough. Thank you!
