My name is Maite I live in NYC with my fiancé and my son. I am originally from Cuba and my fiancé is from Brooklyn, NY. Our family love the outdoors and the mountains. We decided to start hosting because we love the idea to pass the memories made in our Little casita to other families. We like to travel and love ppl from all around the world. We would love that people from all over come to enjoy the Catskills and experience the camping lifestyle. This casita is in the woods and it was designed to be our sanctuary away from stress. We come as often as we can to fish, swim,ski,bike and to commute with nature. Is an off the grid experience.

Belleayre Casita de Campo is closed for the season it will reopen April 2022 to October 2022.

Belleayre Casita de Campo is a camping experience, good for couples and solo travelers who wish to simple commune with nature– surrounded by acres of untouched forest. Wildlife abounds in this private setting located just 3 miles from the famous Belleayre mountains allowing you to experience delightful solitude with all the comforts.
This is the perfect spot to enjoy the views across the valley and watch the milky way at night.
Belleayre Casita de Campo is a tiny house in a secluded 6 acre property located along the Rt28 and border of Shandaken Wild Forest. This site, is surrounded by trees with amazing Mountain Views. Short drive to lakes and Esopus creek to fish or sit along the lake. Miles of hiking trails for you to explore from your site. In addition to the beautiful immediate surroundings, we are centrally located near Belleayre Ski Resort, Belleayre Beach, Woodstock, Phoenicia, Hunter Mountain and many other exciting destinations. Year round activities such as hunting, fine dining, biking the rail trail, train rides and more.

Guests will sleep in a queen bed inside, there is a tv/dvd with plenty of movies to watch at night. We have an outdoor kitchen area with 2 BBQs one is propane and another uses charcoal, an ice cooler, all fully stocked With pans and pots for guests to prepare their food and A fire pit all just a few steps from the casita. You are welcome to burn the wood around the property for a campfire.We encourage guest to bring disposables plates, forks and cups There is an outdoor bathroom with a Camplux portable water heater and a compost portable toilet. There are chairs around the campfire to use. This an off grid cabin so is not plumbing or running water inside. We provide you with gallons of water for showering/ washing dishes. We recommend bringing Your own sleeping bag and blankets to Have a comfortable sleep. The bed has a mattress with a protector and 2 pillows. The casita has a heater, a fan and a generator for your comfort. You can park your car across the property . We welcome pets. There are two neighborhood dogs one a Labrador and a husky kind of mix dog that may stop by and say hello. In case you see them they are harmless, friendly and playful.
The area is a QUIET ZONE. Ideal for people looking to unplug from it all and become one with nature. It is teaming with wildlife and is ideal for birding. The hosts mission is to disturb wildlife and its habitats as little as possible.
No Wifi for better enjoyment of the nature, phone reception and WiFi is to proximity of the road and down the road in the Belleayre pizza and caffe/ Mobil gas station.
You have full access to the site, if you want to have more than 2 guests you can bring a tent along no charge. Ample of parking spots.
