Isolé Cottage d'époque avec vue imprenable sur la vallée pittoresque Dovey

Dans un lieu préservé isolée sur une colline avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée Dovey. Ce chalet bien équipé paisible à 150 acres de terres agricoles avec son propre grand jardin clos et stockproof. Soigneusement rénové, il conserve de nombreuses caractéristiques originales et est meublée dans le respect du style et de l'âge. Le chalet sert de maison quand pas laisser sortir. Machynlleth (5 miles) a des magasins, restaurants, location de vélos, et un centre de loisirs avec piscine. Plage de sable, voile et le golf sont également disponibles dans Aberdovey 12 miles. RSPB sanctuaire de Ynyshir 10 miles, milans royaux et autres oiseaux peut être repéré à partir du chalet. Centre for Alternative Technolgy 5 miles. Rivière, lac de pêche et la pêche en mer à proximité. Pistes cyclables, tir au pigeon et quad disponibles dans les 2 miles. Proximité des Grands petits trains du pays de Galles. Les promenades et le cyclisme de la porte (chalet situé sur bridleway). Pub, une boutique et un bureau de poste 1. 5 miles.

Great location

Great cottage in a quiet location unless the jets fly by which is Great we love it and so do the dogs this was our 4th visit

Another lovely stay in this cottage. You’ll need to take all the essentials and be prepared to buy logs, kindling etc in the colder months but the location is fabulous and the wrap around garden perfect for dogs and a sense of being away from it all. Lovely walks in the area, only a short drive from amenities. This is our 4th stay here and we hope to return.

Charming Cottage

We loved our stay at Penycoed Cottage, which, we were told, is about 400 years old! It is located on a hill, and you get to see some fantastic views as you drive down from the property. Property is pretty well maintained. Mary is wonderful and it was great meeting her. She gave us some great ideas on what places to visit and so on.

What a wonderful relaxing place to unwind

Another great holiday at Mary’s beautiful cottage

This was our third visit to the cottage - we love the location, the privacy, the country cottage feel of the property and the lateral around garden which is perfect for dogs. Great walks in the area and a short journey to shops.

Brilliant 4 night stay

The cottage is in a perfect quiet location, it’s very private and has everything you could need. The grounds are gated off from the single track road in front -the road is a dead end further up the hill, there is no passing traffic to speak of. The valley in front of the cottage is stunning. We had a great time and were sad to leave

Fairytale Cottage in mid Wales

As the title says. An enchanting cottage in beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful and not far from local amenities and waterfall walks. Lovely gardens we all enjoyed in the sunny mornings. Well equipped cottage, everything there that we needed.

We had a great stay at Mary's house. The location and views were fantastic. The cottage was full of character and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our boys were ably to explore the farm on their bikes, whilst we enjoyed the house and garden. The location was ideal for Dyfi Mountain Bike park. Mary was very helpful with recommendations.

Perfect escape

It was our second time staying here. A gorgeous cottage in a peaceful location. Great views from upstairs windows.Large secure wrap around garden (perfect for our 3 year old) Jets overhead if you’re lucky (again perfect for our 3 year old who loved this)Walk down the hill from the house to the river (its a fairly steep hill but great views on the way down and also great for jet spotting. Lots of lovely places for paddling in the river, steam railways nearby (another favourite), lovely beach at Aberdovey only 30 mins away. We adore this place and have enjoyed our stay very much both times.

I’ve given 4/5 for accuracy of listing. The photographs do not do justice to this lovely cottage. Lovely setting. Very private. Comfy & quaint dwelling. The owner Mary is also very accommodating & does not intrude. We will be staying again!

Excellent locations and beautiful cottage

The cottage itself is beautiful. It has a really nice feel to it. The location is impeccable, secluded, with great views. The night sky (although there was only an hour of clear skies) was amazing. I would highly recommend this place.

Cottage with fantastic view

Lovely period cottage with gorgeous views of mountains and valley with river. Quiet and secluded and a welcome change to rap up our vacation. Mary, our host, came by to check on us and was a delight to get the opportunity to visit with her.
