Tigh Mo Mhiann (il y a un nom unique pour vous!) est une charmante ancienne maison de forgeron dans le magnifique paysage montagneux de Roybridge. Point de départ idéal pour la randonnée, les sports d'hiver et de la pêche. Grand jardin. Un accès facile aux transports en commun. Feu réel et cuisine bien équipée.

Les escaliers sont raides et ce cottage ne sont pas recommandés pour les personnes ayant des difficultés de mobilité. Roybridge est à seulement 8 miles de la Nevis Range centre des sports de montagne et à 12 miles de Fort William. Dans la direction opposée est Fort Augustus et du Loch Ness. Certains de nos visiteurs gérer un voyage d'une journée à l'île de Skye.

Well located 200 year cottage with plentiful nearby attractions.

A lovely 200 year old cottage situated in a small village close to a plethora of fantastic walks,mountain climbs and opportunities for wild swims.The information about the cottage and what to do in the area was second to none. I felt very well informed.The cottage has all the facilities you may need and although situated next to a train station is a haven of peace.

Great stay in a genuine cottage

First of all we want to thank Amanda for her quick and friendly responses to any of our questions. The location is perfect for travelers (since it is located directly at the Roybridge train station) and hikers (the area around the cottage is lovely). The cottage has a very nice kitchen too sit in and a sweet sitting room. Also it has a surprisingly large bathroom (in relation to what you would expect from the outside). It can develop a little musty smell though, but that didn't prevent us from feeling very much at home. Thanks again!

Sehr gemütliche Cottage

Die Cottage ist sauber, komplett ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht, die Gastgeber informieren sehr detailliert über alles was man wissen muss, und die Lage ist für den Westen Schottlands sehr gut geeignet. im Umkreis von Max 2h Fahrzeit erreicht man von Oban bis Inverness, von Skye bis zur Speyside einen Großteil der interessantesten Orte in den Highlands.

A pleasant syay

A good time was had. Disappointed with the speed of deposit return - still waiting after two weeks. Great location for exploring the atea, would recommend walking highlands website for a range of fantastic walks!

Hi Tim. We're really glad that you enjoyed. About the deposit: it's down to Homeaway to return that. We never touch the deposit. I'll raise a complaint to Homeaway on your behalf. Most of our guests come through other channels and they get their deposit back within 24 hours of leaving!

Superb!!

As soon as we saw this cottage on the website we wanted to book it because it looked like the perfect place to spend our holiday in. Right from the start the owners were very helpful and the booking and payment were hassle free. The cottage is in a fantastic location, away from the hustle and bustle of town life. It's a quaint little cottage and as soon as we pulled up we thought how beautiful it was. It's got everything you could possibly need and is well equipped with kitchen essentials, bedding, towels etc. On a particularly rainy day we made up a lovely fire in the lounge and the cottage was warm and cosy in no time at all. It is only a short drive or bus ride away from fort william, and the railway station is practically right outside so it is easy to get to places for sightseeing. It is a short walk to the Stronlossit inn where we had a very enjoyable meal. The description of the cottage advises of the steep stairs. They are steep but they add to the character of this delightful cottage. You get used to them and they certainly did not cause us any problem at all. We would love to visit this area again and would not hesitate to book this cottage. Thank you to Bern and Amanda for providing such a lovely holiday cottage.

Hidden gem

What a wonderful weekend we had, a beautiful cottage set in its own small garden with walks through woods to small hidden stream. Pub nearby (food not great) but very convenient and friendly. Climbed Ben Nevis and done all touristy things from this great location, would highly recommend anyone to book this cottage, from the first contact with the owners ,it was a smooth and hassle free break.. thank you

Amanda and family live in southern England but we never fail to be in awe of the Scottish scenery. We love a range of outdoor activities so Scotland is ideal for our own holidays. We have been providing high quality holiday accommodation in Scotland for over 30 years!

As well as the spectacular natural scenery, Scotland has a wealth of architectural interest, combining robust and sturdy with ornate and beautiful. No other part of the UK is similarly speckled with such architectural gems; from tiny lodge houses to tower houses, castles and mansions. Although Tigh Mo Mhiann is a modest house, built for or by the village blacksmith, it is true to the traditional style of croft cottage that fits so seamlessly into the rural Scottish landscape.

We bought here because it was so difficult to find accommodation for weekend ski trips especially around Easter. There are a lot of myths about Scottish skiing. The truth is that you can't rely on it, even if the forecast is solid. It's true that you sometimes ski on ice, facing horizontal hail and in thick fog. But when it's good, I don't think there's anywhere to beat it.
