Good morning Rhonda, we are happy that you enjoyed the experience in an authentic Apulian Trullo, but just a few clarifications: the owners are my parents who welcomed you on the first day and supported you during your stay, we manage the reservations and the logistics ( and we weren't even in Puglia when you arrived, we live in another region). The external bathroom of the Trullo was wanted so as not to have to disassemble and reassemble the trullo and therefore distort an authentic late 18th century Trullo. The external bathroom belonging to the trullo is described in detail in the announcement. Where your friends have slept, that is in the Lamia which is a recent construction, in fact, the bathroom is inside. The alcoves in the Trullo have vaulted stone arches, some are low others higher, the suite you are talking about is not the main one since it has a 1.20m bed, but the main suite is the one with the high entrance 1.90 m with a 1.40 m bed, where I assume from what you write, you slept. All our guests compliment us for our discretion, we don't usually go where guests stay to protect their privacy (since it is for their exclusive use) or only in case we are called in case they need help for something. The place, as written in the announcement, is in the Ostuni countryside among trulli, olive and almond trees, all guests arrive at the entrance with the navigator of their car.
