La Coach House est une ancienne Coach House, joliment présentée et élégante.

Le Coach House est un ancien relais de poste magnifiquement présenté et élégant situé dans une zone de cour tranquille parmi deux autres maisons de style similaire à Docking. Le Coach House est d'un très haut niveau avec un sol en chêne et un carrelage en travertin, de la moquette à l'étage et de belles portes en chêne. Un grand salon est idéal pour socialiser; idéal pour les familles et les amis pour profiter de nuits douillettes devant le poêle à bois. La cuisine est très bien équipée et dispose d'une salle à manger conviviale permettant au cuisinier ou aux cuisiniers de converser avec la famille et les invités autour de la table en chêne et pouvant accueillir jusqu'à huit personnes. Il y a un vestiaire au rez-de-chaussée, une buanderie / salle de douche nouvellement aménagée et un jardin dans une cour entièrement fermée.

A l'étage se trouvent deux chambres doubles de style individuel avec lits king size, la chambre principale est en suite et dispose d'une douche de plain-pied. Il y a deux autres chambres simples, à la fois avec des lits simples et des lits simples supplémentaires pour les enfants. La salle de bains familiale et salle de bains ont des touches élégantes avec carrelage en travertin, les influences de chêne et sont à la fois magnifiquement fini. En plus du confortable poêle à bois, le chauffage central est au gaz avec du propane, un grand parking avec deux places dans l’aire de stationnement en brique et une voiture / remorque supplémentaire ou une place de stationnement pour annexe à l’arrière sur une allée séparée en bardeaux.

L'amarrage est parfaitement placé pour la côte nord du Norfolk avec de longues plages de sable à proximité à Brancaster moins de 5 miles (10 minutes en voiture) et le port populaire de Brancaster Staithe, idéal pour les amateurs de voile. Le village géorgien populaire de Burnham Market est à 6,5 km avec des boutiques de mode, des cafés, des charcuteries fabuleuses et le célèbre Hoste Arms Hotel and Restaurant.

Comfortable and well maintained

The house is fairly new and pretty well stocked with items you need. the missing bits were a bit picky like the size of the tea pot for a place the can sleep 8. The real disappointment was the lack of a welcome pack. There were some items such as salt, pepper sugar and some tea and coffee, but these looked like they had been left by previous visitors. This is the first of 7 places we have stayed in Norfolk that did not have some sort of fresh items left for us. The location is very quiet and easy to find, there is no really narrow roads to negotiate or silly openings to find. Eating out means a bit of traveling as there is only one place near for meals, The railway Inn is OK during the week, but if you want to have the carvery on Sundays , go early, it is NOT good in the evening. Docking is good location to visiting numerous places in Norfolk and we would probably stay again.

Beautiful house

Coach House in Docking is a beautiful property, with off road parking, in a quiet village location. The house contained everything needed for our holiday, including lots of extras that we weren't expecting, such as beach chairs and windbreak. The house was comfortable and beautifully decorated, and there is a small outside space to sit in for dining or drinking Al fresco. Docking is a picturesque village with a shop/post office and pub which serves food. It is in easy driving distance to lots of other lovely towns and villages, shops, beaches and Sandringham and Holkham Park. It is about an hour's drive from Norwich. We loved our stay at Coach House and will definitely be back!

And relax

Just spent a lovely 4 nights in the coach house, lovely and quite off the beaten track but 2 minutes from the main road in Docking. The coach house had everything we needed and would certainly recommend to everyone. Just one issue for us - lack of a rail in either shower is a disadvantage and so easily put right. The customer services staff are very friendly and helpful too. Try The Railway Inn in the village its a super place to eat.

Super break in a stunning home…

The Coach House was a very warm and welcoming home for our family break together in such a beautiful place. A perfect location for visiting the stunning area of North Norfolk and what a treat to stay in such a fab house where you had absolutely everything you needed for a perfect stay. We all have brought home some amazing memories and want to go back and make some more!!! It was the first time I had booked through Norfolk Hideaways but it certainly will not be the last, thank you this was the perfect break.

Lovely property

Lovely property, great size and great interior. Appeared spotless on first arrival, however there were parts that could be improved. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels. Location is great if you want to eat in, however we didn’t and there is nowhere that delivers takeaway to that area. There are also no taxis that would do local journeys. I found the booking process very easy and the information clear. I would definitely book with them again.

Happy holidays

Everyone in our group thought that the Coach House was perfect for us. The rooms are large....and it was delightful for us all to be able to share meals around the table using two additional fold up chairs which were provided. The furnishings were of a high quality...settees comfortable as were the mattresses. The master and double bedrooms were large and very attractive and the two single children's rooms were smaller but still comfortable and inviting. The one minor thing missing was in the childrens rooms where each required a stand with hangers for hanging clothes although one room did have chester draws. That said...we are being picky because the standard of this accommodation is very high and it is located in a quiet corner of Docking with ample car parking and a short drive away from the coast. A big thank you to the owners of this property for the thought, time and work that goes into trying to meet all of their customers needs.

Great staycation

The house is everything we imagined. With everything we needed . Tastefully decorated. The travel cot mattress is not very comfortable.We used the railway in a couple of times and the pizzas are good, the pub menu is ok . A short drive to Brancaster beech. All the restaurants are fully booked so book well in advance

A lovely week with the family

On arrival in Docking, it was fairly easy to find The Coach House. We managed to park three cars easily, leaving the reserved space outside for one of the two other properties on the site. We were delighted with the space, amenities and cleanliness of the property; plenty big enough for 6 adults, a toddler and a 5 month old baby. As we were in the country, we were pleased we had taken fly spray! We also decided to take fans with us, because of the extreme heat; it was very warm in the house, particularly upstairs. Would definitely book again.

A large and inviting luxurious space with oak flooring, double aspect windows to the side and rear and a cosy wood burning stove (with fireguard and bag of logs on arrival). There is a widescreen 'Smart' television with Freeview. A door leads to the enclosed courtyard garden.

Fabulous double aspect room with well-equipped 'shaker style' kitchen with oak work tops, induction hob with electric cooker and extractor hood over. There is a full size dishwasher and integrated fridge/freezer (3 drawer freezer) and microwave. A large dining table accommodates up to eight people with six chairs and two additional chairs available for guest use.

Integrated washing machine and tumble dryer. Double shower cubicle with mains shower and heated towel rail.

With a king-size bed and window to the side.

Outside:

To the front of the Coach House is a small seating area screened by attractive willow fencing with bench and log store. Charcoal barbecue.
At the rear there is a small fully-enclosed paved courtyard area with outdoor table and bench seating for up to eight people. There is also an additional little garden with seating just across the lane. A pedestrian gate leads to the additional shingled parking area.
Outside there is ample parking with two spaces on the brick weave parking area in front of the property and a single additional car/trailer or dinghy parking space to the rear of the property on a separate shingled driveway.
