Bienvenue dans l'incomparable ChĂąteau SupĂ©rieur oĂč confort et intimitĂ© vous attendent! SituĂ© Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la Scenic North Shore Highway 61 Ă  quelques minutes de Duluth et en face de Larsmont. Restez sur ce terrain de 10 acres avec une vue dĂ©gagĂ©e sur le majestueux lac SupĂ©rieur.

Commencez votre journée avec des cerfs dans la cour et terminez-le en regardant le lac derriÚre votre feu! Pour tout ce qui se trouve entre les deux, nous avons ce qu'il vous faut.

Maison entiÚrement meublée de 3 800 pieds carrés construite en 2009 avec trois chambres / 2. 5 bains pourront accueillir confortablement six personnes. Trois chambres avec 1 lit king / 1 lit queen / 2 lits jumeaux (literie neuve) pour de nombreuses options de couchage merveilleuses. Plusieurs espaces communs, une cuisine haut de gamme entiÚrement fonctionnelle et des siÚges / vaisselle pour 12+. Planchers chauffants partout. Profitez de l'extérieur sur nos 10 acres avec une grande terrasse et un foyer. Cet endroit est vraiment votre porte d'entrée sur la nature de la CÎte-Nord dans toute sa splendeur!

This house has the space and location for a wonderful stay in the Two Harbors area - we loved the VIEW! The number of rooms, and the space inside and out for our extended family to spend time being together. There were some negative points though: the hodgepodge collection of kitchen stuff was difficult to work with, it would have been challenging to cook a full meal. And the dishes in the cabinets were not clean, everything was grubby. The dishwasher works great though, so I'm not sure why.There was no scrub brush for the dishes, or sponge to wipe down counters and tables. All the beds were too soft for our group-one of us ended up not sleeping in a bed at all, the rest of us did but compared discomfort notes the whole weekend. Finally, the sinks upstairs dont drain well, and the sink in the kitchen is just not right-deteriorating concrete that is questionable on several fronts. Some missing screens with plenty of flies etc making their way in. The property felt tired (siding missing) and in need of an update which should start with all the concrete counters and sinks throughout. Finally, not being able to use the indoor fireplace AND the very prominent but locked outdoor hottub were disappointments. The listing mentions not being able to use the hottub, but not very noticeably. The outdoor fire pit is a nice feature, but the owner says no-one should be outside making noise past 9pm. OK, but the space, location and VIEWS were worth it and we appreciated our weekend here!

The view of Lake Superior cannot be beat! We loved having a fire outside and room for our group of 6 friends to stay. Pros: location is between Duluth and Two Harbors (25 mins to everything), views, easy parking/access, and VERY responsive host! A few nitpicks: property was a little worn (rugs, kitchen sink, loud ceiling fans) but check out list was so reasonable and its beautiful and quiet setting. Appreciated the coffee maker options and A little odd to not have access to fireplace or hot tub.

Really nice accommodations. Enough bedrooms for our group. I was surprised about no A/C, but it wasn't needed and their were ceiling fans in all the rooms. Nice quite location at the top of the hill, no neighbors close by. We used this as our home base, explored during the day and came back here each evening to play some games with the family gathered around the large table. Really relaxing experience.

Getaway to Two Harbor

We went with 7 adults a 2 almost 2 year olds. This house is big with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Beautiful view of Lake SuperiorWe had a nice bonfire to end our day.

Overall the property is fantastic, beautiful.Incidentals _____1. BOX FANS-3 of them upstairs: black (did not work), the other two had screws missing.2. Refrigerator was sounding an alarm (on humid day).3. Ceiling fan (high up in family room) did not work.4. No screen in one upstairs window therefore could not open, bugs. 5. Entertainment room. Light and ceiling fan wall switches did not work.

Big House for Big Families

This house was very spacious with a great view of Lake Superior. Ten adults had plenty of room for sleeping, dining, and outside gatherings. The fire pit was a big hit. The location makes it easy to get to all of the major tourist spots. We highly recommend this place.

Weekend up North

We had a lovely weekend at the chalet! The location is very private, and up on a hill so has beautiful views. The home is warm and inviting and had more than enough room for our group of 10. It was the perfect find!

Fantastic getaway!

A small group of us from work had a retreat at the Chateau and couldn't have been happier! What a beautiful, big space, with all the amenities we needed and more than enough room to spread out and enjoy. A great kitchen for cooking and gathering, multiple living areas to sit in for discussion or time alone. We'd go back again anytime, thank you for a wonderful experience!

Snow plowing

The road in was not plowed for our arrival and did not get plowed until midday on day 2. Had we not had a pickup with 4 wheel drive we could not have gotten into the long driveway. My wife is handicapped and not having it plowed or a snow shovel handy in the garage made her entry difficult. We later found a snow shovel on the back patio. The house was 62 degrees when we entered and with infloor heat did not heat up until morning. We all were disappointed with the responses we got from the owner about getting a plow in. If you don’t have 4 wheel drive I would not recommend this place for winter use. This is a nice place but owner needs to take more responsibility that everything is ready for guest to arrive.

Beautiful, peaceful, great place!

We loved our stay here! The property is perfectly situated in the woods with a beautiful, peaceful view of Lake Superior. We loved the space both inside and outside the home. Also loved the area/location-- conveniently located near the state parks to the north and Duluth to the south. The pictures didn't do a justice to how wonderful the home is. Great place to relax and getaway!

Family extended trip

Stay at the Superior Chateau

We had a great time at the Superior Chateau. It was a good size for our large family. It is on land which gave our family some privacy. The view of Lake Superior was wonderful. We were disappointed on the cleanliness of the place. The house didn’t have air condition and it was hot inside of the house. We were told when we first acquired about the property that it was not necessary as it gets a good breeze from Lake Superior. This was not the case for us, it was very hot inside. Some windows and doors did not have screens or were broken so could not open them. It was hard sleeping as it was so hot. The final issue we had was the bathroom situation. There are 2.5 baths so we didn’t think there would be an issue with the bathrooms with our large family. One was off the master suite, so when they were sleeping could not use. One was off of the entertainment room, which we did have people sleeping in,, so same situation. This left just one bathroom for the rest of us to use while those rooms were occupied. The host was great to work with snd very responsive to my messages.

Great North Shore Family Trip

If you're looking for a place for a quiet trip with a great view of Lake Superior, this is it. We did a trip with the extended family and had three young kids. There was plenty of room for everyone and the location had us close enough for shorter trips into Duluth and a head start on longer trips up the shore.

In our backgrounds, we went to Saint John's University, the University of Saint Thomas and the Humphrey School - University of MInnesota! We grew up in, live in, and love Minnesota.

Who doesn't love the beauty and wilderness of the North Shore? Every time we come here, we're astounded by the natural oasis that's been preserved in our State Parks and surrounding area. When we come to the Chateau, our busy / professional lives melt away in the smell of a fire or float away in rich dark star filled skies above!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

To have an opportunity to have a luxurious, yet comfortable open space where families can come to enjoy the North Shore makes us feel so blessed. We love to get outdoors and be rugged, but we also enjoy a high quality place to stay when we're done having our fun for the day.

When we "Get away" to the North Shore, our bodies want to be away. We want our own place and space; not share walls with others we don't know. At the Chateau, you don't have to compromise! You have 10 acres of pristine peace and quiet, save the deer that may pass your window. That said, you're just a couple minutes from access to places if you want / need them. Larsmont is 1.5 miles / Two Harbors is 7. At Superior Chateau, you get access without obligation!

Indoors, the place is upscale country living at its best. Upscale kitchen and amenities, lofted common areas, radiant in-floor thermal heat to keep your bare feet always warm. Oversized bedrooms with large sleeping arrangements (Five bedrooms - 2 King/2 Queen/1 Twin). Everything has been thoughtfully considered!

Finally, we love that this property was built and designed to take in the full glory of Lake Superior and the North Shore. Outdoors, there is a large deck, a fire pit, a yard facing the open view to the water, and trails that can be accessed directly from the lot. From the inside, the lake view and morning sun stream in the long South Side of the house, filled with windows. Superior Chateau was built to welcome in the North Shore unto itself!
