We had a wonderful time at this gorgeous house. It was the perfect location, and very comfortable. We cooked a delicious Thanksgiving dinner in the huge kitchen and enjoyed it on the porch overlooking the marina. Highly recommend and would love to stay again.

We stay at the Boathouse EVERY time we are in New Orleans. We cannot say enough good things about the space and the hosts. Its a short drive in to the FQ, we can fish, relax, and just feel right at home. The Boathouse never disappoints!

The home is exactly as it appears in the pictures with views of the marina and lake to the back and front of the house, respectively. We had a wonderful and quiet time while being close to the great food and music of the French Quarter. I enthusiastically recommend this place, especially to families.

Sorry that we did not get a 5 star rating - and I know it is because the igloo home key box malfunctioned. Thank you for your patience - and your willingness to help me try and fix it over the phone (to no avail). For this reason a second key box is being installed tomorrow so this will never happen again. I never anticipated a need for two key boxes, but it will have two now:). Thank you again for your patience - and glad you had a nice stay at the house and in New Orleans.

Great experience! Even though the weather was rainy for several days it was still very enjoyable. Well furnished, clean and spacious. We have our boat at the marina so it was very convenient to get into the lake quickly.

Wonderful Lake Front Get Away!

The boat house is spacious and comfortable. Located in a convenient area of the NOLA Lake Front with exceptional views. The front porch is absolutely perfect for morning coffee and the back porch for afternoon cocktails. Accommodations are extremely comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We will definitely stay here again for our next trip to the NOLA.

The boathouse is beautiful. Very close to all NOLA has to offer at a great rate compared to all hotels in the city. The owner was very quick to respond to communication and willing to help with any and everything. I highly recommend the rental and will definitely be checking availability for my next trip to NOLA!

Boathouse Week

We had a great week staying at this adorable boathouse. The location was extremely convenient to Southern Yacht Club where our kids were doing sailing clinic as well as shops, restaurants and grocery stores in the Lakeview neighborhood. We would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend it to friends looking for a Lakefront getaway!
