ÉlĂ©gant et dĂ©tendu, Carters Yard Cottage allie la vie contemporaine Ă  une touche Ă©lectrique vintage. NichĂ© dans le jardin de notre maison familiale du XVIe siĂšcle de grade II. C'est la retraite capsule idĂ©ale, l'intimitĂ©, la restauration et le confort.
Le logement comprend une grande chambre voûtée au plafond avec lit king size, une salle de douche attenante et un dressing au premier étage. Le rez-de-chaussée se compose d'un salon confortable, d'une salle de petit-déjeuner et de l'avantage supplémentaire d'une kitchenette.

My second stay this summer. This cottage is just lovely. Everything you need is available. So quiet (apart from mums dog snoring) and comfortable.Close to all village amenities.

The cottage is accessed from the high street into a courtyard hidden behind a white door ( right next to the pink shop). You have to walk pass another rental to access the cottage which can be a bit awkard if the guests in the other cottage are at home/outside... it makes you feel a bit like an intruder ..otherwise the cottage is charming and comfi. The Indian restaurant/take away across the road is excellent...and the pub is very welcoming. There is a walk nearby for those coming with a dog.

Der Aufenthalt im Secret Cottage war toll. Das kleine, etwas versteckte Haus, ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die EigentĂŒmerin sehr hilfsbereit. Sie hatte an unserem Ankunftstag, weil wir erst so spĂ€t ankamen, Milch und Brot hingestellt. Das Haus, ist absolut ruhig, da es nicht an der Hauptstraße liegt.Insgesamt war es echt schön.

A comfortable base when exploring a beautiful part of the country.The weather was hot and sunny so it was disappointing to find that only one window was able to open and the duvet supplied was perhaps more suited to the winter months.As keen gardeners, we thought the small area we were able to use required some TLC.

Little gem of a place

Lovely historic cottage in the centre of the village. Quiet location tucked away with its own little garden. Everything provided and more. Thank you for the welcome pack, breakfast was lovely. Comfy bed, comfy sofa bed, comfy cottage.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will certainly be recommending for visitors to the village.

Wonderful cottage - lovely landlady

We had a wonderful week in Cambridgeshire and surrounding. The cottage is so lovely, quite with a beautiful garden to rest outside. Shopping and pub in Kimbolton present all you need to spend a nice vacation. The cottage itself was clean and offered everything you need to cook for family . Beautiful secret cottage

My husband myself and our dog stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting my daughter. The cottage is quaint and cosy, beautifully done out. Bed was lovely and comfortable. The host Rebecca was very accommodating and communication was great. The village is idyllic, we will definitely return

Beautiful property, spotlessly clean, nicely furnished & very well equipped. Rebecca is an excellent host. I left an earring behind & she went through the vacuum cleaner to find it to return to me, such service!! I would highly recommend this property.

A great find

When we first opened the door from the main street into the garden courtyard we had a feeling the cottage was going to be special. To find it was so well equipped was an added bonus with everything in keeping with the age of the property. We appreciated the good supply of provisions too. Highly recommended.

A cute cottage with great hosts

We stayed for just under 3 weeks and had a lovely stay. A really charming and cute little cottage, hidden away behind the main street in Kimbolton. Though the kitchen is very compact, the air fryer and induction stove meant we could make some meals, and everything else about the cottage is cozy and welcoming. The hosts are great, and Rebecca was always very swift to respond to any questions or requests. Highly recommended.

A Gem of a Place to Stay!

The Secret Cottage is the most stunning little cottage I have ever stayed in. Immaculately clean, beautifully presented and full of the most thoughtful touches. The bed is even more comfortable than mine at home and the duvet was like sleeping under a summer cloud. The decor was perfection and I will most definitely be booking again. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful secret hideaway!

Lovely cosy place in a gorgeous little town

Lovely cottage, perfect for the 2 of us plus our doggies. Communication before and during was fabulous and we really appreciated the early check in after a long drive. Loved the little touches too, like fresh bread, cereal, etc. Kimbolton is lovely, with lots of nice little walks on the doorstop. Highly recommended. Thank you. We will be back 😊

Relaxing stay

Very relaxing stay cottage was very clean and tidy and well stocked with everything you will need. Good touches bread, milk and water supplied. Could do with a small to on the wall upstairs in the bedroom. We wanted a relaxing time and did relax. Bed was very comfortable and we would stay again pubs very good in the local area.

Great mid week break

Great host who communicated with us easily. The cottage is in a very quiet place with some shops and pubs on the doorstep if needed. Would recommend this place to anyone needing somewhere cozy to stay.
