Awesome getaway

We had a great time at this property. Everything was as described. Great location to access all the pools! The property could use new mattresses on the beds as they are wore out, and if recommend bringing a few extra bath towels as there weren’t very many and most were wore out. All in all a great place!

Property was good with a few exceptions.

The property was pretty good for the most part. I felt the important area's of the house were clean, however, I thought the property needed a good "spring cleaning". Some of the doors were very dusty as were some of the woodwork. The general floor area in the living room was clean but you could see dust under the couch and chairs and TV stand. The TV stand was dusty as well. There were a few other minor things such as the bathrooms were not restocked with towels and toilet paper. We did find the towels in a linen closet by the kitchen and the toilet paper in the closet in the garage.

Very comfortable, roomy, and great location. Friendly neighbors and walk to indoor/outdoor pool or 2 nearby pools. Great for relaxing vacations.

Family vacation

Our house was very nice had everything we needed was close in proximity to all the things to do while in Okoboji. The waterpark passes were a plus.

Great place but needs improvement

Property manager did not return phone calls or text messages. Floors were filthy. Towels need replacing. Need more silverware. Hair dryer would be nice. We had to purchase Clorox wipes and dishwasher soap. Two irons but no ironing board. Information sheet was worded tersely.

Christmas in July

We loved the cabin! The boys especially enjoyed the PS3! It was a very fun location. Beds were comfortable! The only issue we had was there were not enough trash bags, so we had to go buy some and we ran out of paper towels. The kids are already asking when we can go back!

Small bachelor party

Great weekend escape

Family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The furniture was comfortable and appreciated as part of our party had been on the road 2 days. The pool and waterpark were well maintained and enjoyed. The property manager responded promptly to our questions and was flexible in our checkout time allowing us to celebrate a family birthday for lunch. We will put this cabin at the top of our list when we visit Okoboji next year!

Okoboji 2022

We love staying at Bridges Bay and these cabins. Unfortunately, when we arrived on Sunday for our seven night stay the toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom, was completely broken. We called Monday morning to speak to Beckie, the property manager and let her know the importance of getting it fixed. (There are 2 bedrooms and a loft upstairs and the majority of the guests sleep there.) She said she would pass along the message. Unfortunately after that call and two additional messages, the cleaning crew never did replace the toilet seat. Frustrating, given the length of the stay and the fact that we could have simply purchased and installed it ourselves. Aside from that, we had a great stay at this property and look forward to returning.

Nice place for a family getaway

Nice clean property. We enjoyed our stay for three nights. Washer and dryer was a nice feature so we could wash our swimwear after each days activities.

Was a very nice setup for our stay. Only thing is wish the kitchen table was normal height instead of counter height since is hard for us with back trouble and handicaps to use.

The property was lovely but not clean. We had to clean some when we got there. We were told they fired the company. We were credited back our cleaning fee.

Not good

Cleaning people were there 1 hour 15min after cabin checkin, still cleaning with their grandkids running around. A used tampon was on the back outside patio. The hotel resort water park was closed for 3 days during our stay (in July). The owner of the cabin would not discuss reimbursing our family for this inconvenience. The cabin is listed as supplying 6 water park tickets daily; included in the cost of the rental. After multiple emails, the owner refused to reimburse us for the water park cost (six tickets daily x 3 days). We never even spoke to the owner. He would only communicate through his manager. Our family members whom stayed at the hotel received a 20% discount off their stay. The owner of this cabin definitely does not value the experience of his/her guests.

Nice house

Easy rental process. House was lovely and perfect for our family. We had hoped to get in early. Rental management person never responded to my email. We got there at 4:00 check in time and cleaning person was still there. She called in assistance from 2 people and we still didn’t get in until 4:35. I realize this was not owner’s problem and reiterate that it was a beautiful home and hope to rent it again. Definitely recommend this VRBO.
