Spiti Stelios Stunning Sunset Views Restored Traditional House

Thank you so much for your kind words. We are glad you found the location excellent for your stay in Santorini and our home offered you all your were looking for.

Thank you Maurice, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. The sunrises as well as the sunsets are indeed beautiful from our roof terrace. We are pleased to read that you found all you needed to enjoy cooking at the house. You are very welcome to visit us again!

Thank you Mark, we really appreciate your feedback and recommendation. Glad you enjoyed staying at our holiday home and you are very welcome to return whenever you are ready!

Dear Jill, thank you for your kind words. We are so very happy you liked our house and found it comfortable. Occasionally we have lovely guests like yourselves who see the same as we see in the house, the reflection of the sunlight on the back wall of the living room, the kitchen that has [almost] everything foodies might want, and of course your very own sunset from the spacious roof terrace! We know there is a lot of choice on Santorini, therefore a BIG “thank you” for choosing to stay with us. Enjoy the memories and when you are ready to come back… “our home is your home!”

Thank you so much for your review. We are pleased that you had a good stay and enjoyed the famous Santorini sunsets from our roof terrace! In addition, we are glad you found the peaceful village location and the proximity to local restaurants to offer you a wonderful stay. Our doors are open for you once you are ready to visit our little piece of paradise again!

Dear Reto, thank you so much for your review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay at our holiday home. You are amazing guests and whenever ready to come back, our door is open!

Thank you for your kind words. We are pleased you found our holiday home to be perfect for you. Glad you enjoyed the famous Santorini sunsets from our roof terrace and loved the village of Pyrgos. Our doors are always open for you, once you are ready to return!

Thank you so much for your kind feedback, it was our pleasure to have such great guests and leaving the house in good order. Regarding the bathroom, you are correct we only have 2, however I believe what has happened here is that, following one of its many automatic updates, the [un]intelligent software VRBO deploy interpreted the words “outdoor shower” as a third bathroom! Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we try to keep our listing current as we pride ourselves on accurate description for our guests, this is now updated on the property details. We look forward to having you stay with us again one day :-)

Hi Elizabeth, Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are glad we could assist you during your stay with bookings and taxis and provisions for your arrival. Holidays are about the experience and memories and we are humbled to read that we helped making them memorable for you!

Dear Helen and Said, Your feedback means a lot to us, we try to provide an environment where our guests can 'get away from it all'. We are delighted to read that you had such a great time at our home and on Santorini of course! We are glad that you found the house centrally located, making all the attractions within easy reach. You were marvellous guests and we hope that you will spread the word to friends and family. Very warm regards, Caroline

Dear Karola & Joerg, Thank you for your lovely comments. We are really pleased you had a good time at "Spiti Stelios" and couldn't have wished for better guests. We are looking forward to seeing you again in September. Caroline & Stelios.

Thank you so much for your kind review, we try to offer our guests the same experience we would expect for ourselves. We appreciate your comments on the bedding, all our sheets are 100% cotton and we believe that it is important to have a comfortable bed at the end of the day. It is true that the house is conveniently situated, within walking distance of the village square and tavernas. I would love to say that we organise the fireworks for each guest (LOL), but we are simply fortunate to be located where we are and the fireworks are an added bonus!  We hope you are able to visit us again one day, you are welcome to our home!

Dear Maureen, Thank you for your kind words, we are so very pleased to have contributed to your having an easy and fun vacation. We try to offer our guests the same convenience we enjoy when we go to stay at the house! Really nice to read that you enjoyed the rooftop terrace, it is true that we are blessed to have direct sunset views and 180 Degree views of the island. Yes, Pyrgos village has come along a great deal in recent years and there are many good restaurants to dine at. We are glad we were able to make you feel at home and perhaps one day we can welcome you back again!!

Thank you Julia, we really appreciate your positive feedback, we are glad the house offered you the space you needed to relax and have some time together. Yes, the location is on the quieter side of the village and yet a short walk away from the village square and the many restaurants Pyrgos has to offer. Indeed our property is not wheelchair friendly, we were devastated to learn - upon your arrival - that the fifth member of your group uses a wheelchair. As things turned out, we were relieved our friend was immediately able to arrange suitable accommodation near by, so you could continue and enjoy your visit to Santorini.

Thank you for such a fantastic and touching review. You have been truly exceptional guests. Glad to read your comments about our holiday home, we keep things simple and comfortable to offer you the best experience possible. As you already know from our message exchanges, our door is always open to welcome you back. It’s “au revoir and a bientôt”. 🧿

Thank you for your positive feedback Jesper, you were amazing guests!. We do take all of our guests feedback seriously and always look for opportunities to improve. In this instance, our description does in fact state that the house is not wheelchair accessible and is approached via an uphill stepped footpath, for everyone to read: “The property is not suitable for wheelchair access and the uphill and stepped footpath leading to the house is not suited for individuals with restricted mobility“. Of course we will look at how else we can make these details more visible to travellers, noting that the entire village is built on a hill and accessible via uphill or downhill stepped paths, which is also part of the charm. We are delighted you had a great time and that our team were able to support you with timely and good communication, your airport transfers, you rental cars, suggestion on things to do, all your bookings and appreciate you noticed that we stock the fridge (free of charge) with some necessary supplies to take you through until you could go to a supermarket. Overall we know how important holidays are to our guests and we do what we can to make your stay at our property as comfortable as possible within our limited means, given this is a true private ‘home away’ as opposed to a hotel. We look forward to having you back one day!

We are so glad you found exactly what you wanted, Pyrgos is indeed renowned for remaining an all year round ‘working’ village, it is charming and interesting to discover. As you say, the roof terrace offers spectacular views of the island and is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine watching the sunset. Thank you for your kind comments, we try to keep our pictures current so our guests know exactly what to expect. We are pleased to read that our home offered you a comfortable stay and met all of your needs.

Thank you for your wonderful review. We are so glad we were able to help you enjoy your holidays on Santorini. Our philosophy is to treat our guests like we would want to be treated ourselves. We have a modest home and we take great pride in reading such beautiful reviews. You were beautiful guests, please come again! :-)

Dear Heather, thank you so much for your lovely review. Glad you enjoyed the sweeping views from our rooftop deck, and the sunrises/ sunsets which is one of the great advantages of the location. We are pleased to read that you found the house comfortable and providing you the facilities and space you needed to enjoy your stay. Pyrgos is indeed a very special village, with its winding lanes and blue dome churches, with surprising glimpses of the ocean at every turn. Seems you enjoyed Pyrgos to its fulness. We try to offer our guests with everything we appreciate from staying at our house and your endorsement means a lot to us. Thank you!

Dear Jennifer, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are so pleased that you had such a positive experience and that you found the property to meet your expectations (and “so much more” :-) ). We try to offer our guests the same experience we enjoy when we visit and we are blessed to have direct Caldera views and spectacular sunsets. You have been wonderful guests and made a very special connection with SpitiStelios, team ‘SpitiStelios’ and the village of Pyrgos and we would certainly love to have you stay with us again. We leave you with our love and say “a bientot”. Warm regards, Caroline & Stelios
