Northwoods Hideaway On Crystal Clear Private Carlin Lake

Notre chalet est situĂ© sur les rives de l'un des lacs les plus recherchĂ©s des Northwoods! Carlin Lake est un joyau cristallin PRIVÉ de 153 acres sans accĂšs public. La cabane est situĂ©e sur 12 acres avec 440 pi de façade. À l'extĂ©rieur, il y a une plage de sable privĂ©e, une jetĂ©e pour votre bateau et un foyer. Que vous souhaitiez nager, pĂȘcher, pratiquer des sports nautiques ou simplement vous dĂ©tendre avec votre livre prĂ©fĂ©rĂ©. Il y a aussi une table de pique-nique et des chaises Ă  bascule sous le port de voiture en cas de pluie, un barbecue au charbon de bois Weber, un canoĂ« et une barque pour votre plaisir. Il existe de nombreux excellents restaurants Ă  proximitĂ© pour satisfaire vos papilles. PrĂšs des pistes cyclables et de motoneige aussi. À l'intĂ©rieur, la chambre principale a un tout nouveau lit queen size d'aoĂ»t 2018. La deuxiĂšme chambre offre un tout nouveau lit queen-size et sommier d'aoĂ»t 2018 et un nouveau lit double d'aoĂ»t 2018 et beaucoup de rangement. La climatisation est disponible mais rarement utilisĂ©e car les nuits d'Ă©tĂ© sont gĂ©nĂ©ralement fraĂźches. Pour les nuits d'hiver, il y a un nouveau poĂȘle au propane mural 2018 pour un confort total et un poĂȘle Ă  granulĂ©s dans la cheminĂ©e pour vous garder au chaud pour ces soirĂ©es romantiques sans le travail d'ajouter du bois de chauffage! La salle de bain a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©e et offre une baignoire et une douche. Il y a une cuisine complĂšte avec rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, cuisiniĂšre Ă©lectrique, micro-ondes, grille-pain et cafetiĂšre en plus de tous les ustensiles de cuisine et ustensiles. Nous avons Ă©galement Direct TV. Il n'y a pas de service Wifi. Nous sommes sur un nouveau puits en 2016, mais nous demandons toujours d'utiliser l'eau avec prudence. Relaxing retreat in a gorgeous cabin

The cabin was absolutely perfect. Well-furnished with everything we needed, and plenty of spaces for us to relax, work, and just enjoy the beauty of Carlin lake. The neighbors sharing the property were extremely nice and helpful, and we're hoping to visit the property again next year.

Great location

Beautiful, clean and comfortable cabin in a great location! We saw deer right outside the window, and an eagle flew over the pier while we were sitting there. Highly recommend and hope to stay again in the summer.

Great place for a relaxing stay.

My friends and I had a great time at Rich’s cabin. The lake was gorgeous and the cabin was well-equipped and comfy as expected. Rich was responsive and checked in to see if we needed anything. I only wish we’d had longer to stay.

Beautiful location

Tucked back in the woods with a lake front view. Very cozy and clean. Owner was super easy to communicate with and will more than likely rent again. Wi-Fi and streaming TV were a nice bonus.

Wonderful

We had a great time here. The cabin was very clean. We used the fire pit, and grill nearly every day. Fishing was fun in the row boat provided. Very quiet lake. Would highly recommend!

Pretty property & lake, very quiet & peaceful

Owner was not on site but extremely responsive. Nice hot shower and everything you could need in the kitchen plus charcoal grill outside. Too cold to swim (late Sept) but gorgeous Fall colors!

Spring

We take the week before Memorial Day every year to avoid the crowds, and stay in different Northern Wisconsin areas. The weather did not cooperate this year, but we enjoyed our best spring vacation in many years! We loved the lake, it was basically all ours. And the whole area is beautiful.

Peaceful Getaway

Our trip to Presque Isle was wonderful. The cabin was comfy and cozy. The lake was beautiful and peaceful. It was chilly so we couldn’t swim much, but the water was refreshing and incredibly clean. The quiet and remoteness of the property was just what we needed for our getaway. Thanks Rich.

Beautiful, quiet lake property

We very much enjoyed our stay at this lake Carlin property. It was just what we needed: though the weather did not cooperate very much we enjoyed being outside, made great use of the carport, and the fire pit. It was accessible to fishing, excellent dining, some art galleries, and a quiet place to relax and retreat. I would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful lake cabin

This cabin is on a beautiful lake in a quiet part of the North Woods. It would be a good lake for any type of boating, but of course in December it was frozen like concrete. We were up north for XC skiing, and found several places nearby with very good trails. This area gets a fair amount of snow, including some lake effect from Superior. We had a great time. The cabin is well outfitted and has plenty of heat. The owner was very friendly and easy to work with. There is a three-season porch that would be great in the summer.

Great Time!

We stayed at this cabin with a group of 4 in September. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The attached open air car port is a great feature allowing for grilling, seating and dry storage for our outdoor gear. The boat landing was within eye sight of the property. Private Carlin lake was as clean and clear as advertised and the lake is full of big smallmouth and largemouth bass. The owner (Rich) was easily reached, quick to return any messages and very friendly to work with. I would encourage anyone to take advantage of this rental as it's likely your only opportunity to access this hidden gem of a lake in Northern Vilas county. Thank you for the experience Rich.

Great area, despite a few hiccups

We loved Carlin Lake and this area, particularly the fishing and the bike paths. The cabin was as pictured and about what we expected for the price, but a few minor updates (newer towels, better knives, decent ventilation) could make a big difference in the quality of the stay. Our check-in was confusing to say the least, because there was no key in the lockbox, the other door was wide open, and it had not been cleaned. Rich had clean sheets sent over and arranged for the cabin to be cleaned the next morning, but from our considerable experience renting vacation places, this should NOT have happened. Also, be aware that although the website says there is a DVD player, it does not work. While these are all relatively minor issues, together they detracted from our experience. We still enjoyed a very fun week up north, thanks to perfect weather for outdoor activities.

All the Creature Comforts...and Then Some!

Cozy, comfy, clean. Bright surrounds made brighter by cheerful neighbors next door. Fully-equipped kitchen, solid beds and mattresses, instant hot water, smart TV powered by reliable wi-fy. Accessible, attentive owners. All the creature comforts. No complaints. Hope to return.
