Visited Berwyn Bank for the second time last weekend as a family group of 12 (Age range 4-84).

Visited Berwyn Bank for the second time last weekend as a family group of 12 (Age range 4-84). The house is perfect and had everything you could possibly need for a weekend away. Impeccably clean, comfortable and warm. A wonderful getaway for a blue January! We loved the pool and hot tub. Travelled to Keswick for a walk one day and went for a wonder down the river in Cockermouth the other which was nice! Carol is a wonderful host! Thanks for having us again!

Great place for our family to stay and enjoy being together with plenty to do.

Great place for our family to stay and enjoy being together with plenty to do. We had a few issues with the plumbing (leaks). Reported to owner who was going to look into the problem but not while we were staying there. It didn't spoil the stay. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Came here for a long weekend to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday with family and friends.

Came here for a long weekend to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday with family and friends. We absolutely loved it - access to the pool was quite restricted but it worked fine for us. Only issue was that the wi-if wasn’t working when we were there which, with a family of teens - caused a little unrest, however, would totally recommend and come back again!

We loved our stay at Berwyn bank. The house and facilities are wonderful and Carol will do anything she can to make your stay as comfortable as possible, nothing is too much to ask. We would definitely love to come back!

We stayed here as a family of 12.

We stayed here as a family of 12. The hot tub is a great idea at only £30.00 for the weekend. The nearest pub was 2 miles walk serving fabulous food. (Masons Arms). The cottage was beautiful & the family enjoyed the swimming pool & the pony & pig in the gardens/farm. The only thing I would mention is to take a tea towel/pot towel as we only had one & we were there for 3 nights & also there were a few cobwebs over the cooker hood which weren`t very appealing so we didn't cook until we had cleaned it. In all, a lovely cottage & would definitely recommend.

This is our 6th year here.

This is our 6th year here. There is a group of 11 of us who spend the weekend together to celebrate Christmas. We have noticed there is some parts of the cottage looking tired now and needing up dating. It dosnt stop us having a fantastic time together.
