Lovely cottage with wonderful views.

Lovely cottage with wonderful views. Had all we needed. Be mindful to pick up groceries beforehand as no shop within within walking distance but has a shop in next village. Would not hesitate to stay in the future.

We enjoyed a wonderful week using Riverbank Cottage as our base.

We enjoyed a wonderful week using Riverbank Cottage as our base. I booked the cottage for the view from the living room but we were unable to take full advantage of it as our dog was not allowed upstairs. However, the house was well equipped and spacious. The kitchen/dining area was perfect for 3 of us and the location was quiet and peaceful. It was great to be able to open the back gate and have walks on your doorstep. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The only minor issue for us (and it really is minor!) - no hooks anywhere for coats, towels etc! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A great place to stay

It was a very lovely cottage. Very warm, clean and well equipped, especially the kitchen. Parking is a little challenging on the drive but we found other places to park. A great place for a family gathering. Would certainly book again.

The parking and extremely tight driveway off the road was difficult with a bigger car and directions

The parking and extremely tight driveway off the road was difficult with a bigger car and directions not great we would never have found it from the map if it was not for Sara coming to meet us on the road even with a new sat nav in the car. As per other people’s reviews the conservatory furniture where the only 1 tv was is not comfortable and tired and with the time of year and bad weather we experienced could have made our stay more comfortable in the one area that we relaxed in with the dogs as they were not allowed upstairs restricted were we could spend time with them when we were in the house.

We enjoyed our Christmas stay in this lovely cottage that had plenty of room for the 8 of us. Communication with the owner was spot on and we appreciated the help and advice given to us before our stay and when we arrived. We greatly appreciated the little extras in the cottage, including a dog cage, already prepared woodburner, games and everything and more we could have wanted in the kitchen. We will definitely consider staying again in the future. THANK YOU Sara :)

Riverbank Cottage was an ideal location for our family celebration.

Riverbank Cottage was an ideal location for our family celebration. The property lay out was ideal with a nice big kitchen and an outside area with a large table. The snug area off the kitchen is a delight and the upstairs lounge area is brilliant for relaxing whilst watching the river flow by, especially when the moon is shimmering on it! Gorgeous. My lowish score for Local amenities is simply driven by the fact there are none in the village but there are plenty a relatively short distance away. We just made sure we were well organised. Wouldn't hesitate to book it again. Thanks Sara!

The cottage is situated within 10-20 minutes of local points of interest. We enjoyed staying here. Lovely views along the river Trent which runs at the back of the house. It has a great spacious lounge upstairs. It could just do with a tv in there and it would’ve been perfect.
