Beautifully situated cottage, very friendly and helpful owners.

Beautifully situated cottage, very friendly and helpful owners. Only down side for me is there is only a shower and I’m a bath kinda gal!! But that’s a purely personal opinion. The shower is roomy and the whole cottage is spotlessly clean. Highly recommend Thornton le Dale, lovely village and a good base to travel from.

Real home from home! From the arriving and unpacking our holiday just got better.

Real home from home! From the arriving and unpacking our holiday just got better. The cottage is well laid out with necessary items including a hoover, and the garden is great for any dog - particularly Houdinis - perfect! One 'con' - for the less able of us it would be good to see a grab rail in the shower and perhaps a larger shelf near the wash basin. Hosts Yvonne & Paul are very welcoming and willing to assist when needed. Wonderful! Thank you.
