Everything about this place is excellent, the accomodation, the surrounding grounds, we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend barrenjoey to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with plenty of country towns to explore or just to sit on the front verandah and watch the birds.

Robin and Garry, thank you for such a beautiful stay at Barrenjoey. It truly felt like something out of a fairytale. The property is peaceful, stunning, and so thoughtfully set up, with incredible attention to detail throughout the house and cottage. Everything was perfectly prepared and made our stay so comfortable. Our family loved exploring the gardens and enjoying the quiet surroundings. We’re very grateful for your warm hospitality and would love to return again one day.

A relaxing country property with fabulous country hospitality from Robin and Garry. A peaceful retreat between visits to Adelaide and Barossa. We really enjoyed our stay and the generosity of hosts who made the whole process from booking to departure, stress free and easy.

We had a short, amazing stay at Barrenjoy! The property is incredible and creates such a relaxing environment. It is a close drive to some great spots such as Gorge wildlife park. Would recommend!

Barrenjoey was a complete delight, everything a family would need for a comfortable stay. Fresh bread, milk, butter etc all there on your arrival, would stay there again any time.

Absolutely amazing location and property.

The property was very accommodating, very clean and tidy. Our hosts left basic essentials and since we we’re celebrating a special birthday a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates.Highly recommend staying here. Would love to come back again.

We arrived at Barrenjoey Hideaway, we were taken back by its peaceful beauty , the gardens were amazing lots of different areas to enjoy and relax , beautiful throughout and allowed our small dog Bella to enjoy as well , we give 5 stars , thank you we will be back !

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful setting

We originally booked to stay here for three nights, and ended up extending it an extra night we were so taken with the property. Well appointed, generously stocked, full of character and lovely hosts. We would definitely recommend this as a family or romantic getaway.
