Wedding weekend

We had a group of friends traveling to a wedding in Highlands. It was perfect for our group of four. The views are so beautiful.

This is a very nice home and well maintained. With a beautiful clear view of the mountains from the huge deck. I do recommend renting this property.

First, the host went out of her way to make this a seamless experience. She was wonderful. The house lived up to the pictures! The views were amazing, and the house had everything we needed for both kids and an elderly grandparent. We couldn't recommend this house and host anymore.

🍂 A Perfect Fall Retreat

Our second visit was even better than the first, with notable improvements everywhere!​The room was wonderfully appointed, featuring a cozy fireplace and a truly comfy bed. We loved the spacious bathroom with its huge shower and practical double sinks.​Best of all was the stunning view—the ultimate backdrop for enjoying the spectacular fall colors.​A special mention goes to Jody, the owner, who is simply very sweet and makes the stay even more welcoming. We can't wait to return!

Awesome Stay

Beautiful scenery— one of the best in the neighborhood. Quite a curvy steep drive in but not too bad once you are used to it. Lots of hiking and waterfalls nearby. Kitchen was well appointed. Back deck for meals- sunsets and sunrises is amazing

Perfect retreat

Stunning views! This home was just what we needed. Nestled up in the clouds looking over the mountains of North Georgia. Very comfortable home & well equipped kitchen. We look forward to coming back. Located just a few minutes to Clayton, Dillard & Highlands.

We enjoyed a great week, beautiful mountain views, fun golf, house had all the comforts of home. Be prepared to drive up winding roads to reach your destination! The area is convenient to falls and hiking, flea markets on the weekends, fabulous fresh produce market with the best corn!

Beautifully home with Specular View

Jody provided. Great instructions with full support. The home offers great amenities with comforts in every room. Step out on the balcony and you have great views. Sunset is fantastic with serenity and quietness. Such a great experience.

Wow, The Perfect Escape in the Mountains!

From the fabulous sunsets on the huge deck, the nicely furnished and super clean house we can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this peaceful getaway. Sky Valley is a great Community with great golf and pickleball but so convenient to all the surrounding quaint towns. We completely enjoyed exploring, hiking and shopping. If your travels include this area you’d have a hard time beating this place! Loved It! Trina & Tom

Shangri La

If you love a beautiful spacious home with fantastic views, a huge shower, a great Jacuzzi and beds that sleep like a dream, you will fall in love with this wonderful place. Our hostess, Jody, was amazing and attended to every detail. My husband and I will definitely return to this magical place that we both fell in love with.

Heavenly Views

We love the property. It is big and spacious and the views out every window are stunning! We were snowed in and it added some interesting arrivals of family members. We enjoyed our stay during Christmas. Having a white Christmas was amazing! The owner is so gracious and accommodating.

🏡 Home Away From Home

We booked the home to relax on an extended weekend. Jody the owner was wonderful in communicating about the home and aurrounding area. Check-in was easy and we appreciated being able to park in tge garage. The home was clean and included everything you could possibly need. The view is stunning and sunsets are beautiful. We will definitely stay here again. True southern hospitality.

Location, Location, Location

A fantastic experience all around! Jody was helpful, knowledgeable, and ensured that we had a lovely stay at this stunning property. As many have said, the view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking! Don't let the prospect of mountain roads intimidate you as it is well worth the drive. There is so much to do in the area as well! Whether you choose to retreat into Sky Valley for your stay or venture out into Clayton and beyond, you will not be disappointed. We will certainly be coming back again!

Spectacular views and unbeatable hospitality! The property features spectacular views and thoughtful, well-equipped accommodations. Appreciate all the kitchen supplies. Everything you need except for food is there. Extras like toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags were provided. There is a grill, double oven and a small toaster oven with an air fry setting. Also, two coffee pots, we brought our pods but they had some out for us. The utensils, pots and pans are in great shape. Small touches like battery candles and nightlights make the evenings calm and relaxing. Once we went down the mountain we didn’t go back during the day. Clayton and the Highlands weren’t to far. We enjoyed visiting. From exploring nearby waterfalls, horseback riding, the Vineyard at High Holly to an unforgettable bear sighting, the trip was so nice. We met the tomato guy on the corner of where you turn to Sky Valley. Stop by if he is there. He made us a plate of various tomatoes with cucumber and pepper. Delicious! Combined with the host's incredible kindness and the best communication we've ever experienced, this stay was an absolute 10/10!

What a wonderful recap of your stay! We're so glad the views, the kitchen, our mom was a gourmet cook, and our battery candles and nightlights added to your relaxation. It sounds like you made the most of the area too, from the waterfalls and horseback riding to the vineyard, the bear sighting, and even the tomato guy's delicious plate. Hearing that the communication and overall experience felt like a true 10/10 means so much to us.
