Perfect Getaway

My friends and family were able to spend a wonderful weekend in the Poconos. The home offered everything one could hope for for a fun, relaxing retreat. We were able to focus on playing games and enjoying food as the home offered a variety of amenities to accommodate these goals. The fire pit provided a great hangout spot and the hanging lights around the pit allowed us to spend extra time outside. Thanks again for having us!

Family Weekend

Everything was great! The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and the fireplace made it feel cozy. We even got a bonus of snow and enjoyed some nature hikes! It was a short ride to Hickory Run State Park from the house.

Cozy Cabin for Friends

This was the perfect house for me and my friends to have our Friendsgiving! We loved the awesome living room space and the fireplace that went with it. Kitchen is not very intuitive in where things are, but that is a minor thing compared to everything else.

Nice Area - Dead animal in house

We had a great stay aside from a dead flying squirrel under a blanket on the sofa and minimal sleep due to acorns hitting the tin roof all day/night. I realize the acorns are not the fault of the owner, but the tin roof made it extremely loud and hard to sleep. I guess I can't blame the squirrel on the owner either. However, to say it was traumatic for the person who was laying on the sofa looking to take a nap and pulled the blanket on her and not only get a blanket on her lap, but also a dead squirrel, is an understatement. Looks to have been dead maybe a day or two. Not a pleasant experience for an all girl crew, but we handled it. Other than that, the house was roomy, pleasant and we had everything we needed to enjoy the space. The firepit was a cool place to hang out and we really enjoyed that time, other than the couple in the hot tub behind us which is very, very close, having a great time. ha ha!! The pictures make the house and yard look bigger than they are but overall, the home served the purpose for our girls weekend away. Will likely not book this house again. When we told the owner about the squirrel, he told us to make sure to throw out the blanket it was in. That was about it. Will also try to find a house that doesn't back up to 4-5 other houses for a little more privacy. Enjoyed our girls weekend regardless :o)

Owner's response: "Audrey, we work hard to provide a clean and comfortable place for all our guests. We're sorry if we did not meet your expectations. - We can't control the wildlife around the home, and due to the surroundings, we do have some critters. We looked at the video and the door was left open for over 20 minutes, that would have allowed any little critters to get in. We did ask you to throw the blanket away, and we did call to see if you were okay. We're sorry for the inconvenience. - The photos in the listing are accurate, not sure why you feel they make the house and yard look bigger. What is advertised in the photos is true to size. - We also have no control over Mother Nature and if the wind blows there will be debris, part of the ambiance of our home is the metal roof.We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."

Spacious, clean, comfortable stay with bonus inclusions at every turn!

We needed a home that had a first floor bedroom, slept 8, and I could bring my dog! This location had all three! Absolutely stunning inside with spacious rooms and one of the most comfortable couches I’ve ever sat on! Not only was the space very clean but it was beautifully decorated! The game room was such an amazing bonus. Pool table, air hockey, ping pong, as well as sporting equipment and board games included! The outside has two different decks, picnic table, a fantastic grill and outdoor connect four for the kids! Two hammocks and a fire pit with great seating! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to bring our family to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday! The best part, there were directions for everything and how to use it! And don’t worry about picking up brochures to find that “what to do” activity because they are already supplied! This house has thought of everything! We will absolutely be back again!

Nice place

This property was perfect for our little group. The place was clean, the beds were soft and the kitchen had every appliance, pot or pan we could've asked for! The yard was great for hanging out and making s'mores at the end of the day. The location was close for hiking in Hickory Run State park or even just a walk around Lake Harmony. Our host, Chris, was very attentive and gave us some really great information about the area. Our only disappointment was the porch - it was too chilly to spend time out there and the heater wasn't working. Would definitely rent again!

Hi Pastol, the homeowners work hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and we would like to share the following: - We want all of our guests to find the perfect vacation rental for their stay so we show all the rooms in the listing photos and state the square footage of the property so guests are aware of the size before booking to ensure it is the right fit for their needs. - The owners confirmed the heater works in the three-season room. In the winter months, the game room can get cooler, but the heater works and helps to keep it warmer. The owners do all they can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!

Charming Split rock cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We were gathering for early thanksgiving dinner. Kitchen was well equipped and plenty of room on couch to watch football.

Lake Harmony Vacation

The house was outstanding, beautiful, and comfortable. The host were very helpful and pleasant to talk to. They surprised us with a welcom aboard gift. Not real crazy about the location as Harmony lake not good for family vacations.

Easy checkin. Nice house and everything was well labeled so you could ease right in vs figure everything out. Plenty of activities to do in the house and game room. Worked great for a rainy weekend! I’d go back here.

Cozy Lake Harmony House

Loved the house. It was cozy, roomy and the owner put so many special touches in there for us. I had a chance to speak with the owner and she was so sweet and helpful. The house lacked nothing and everything was labeled for easy usage. I will definetely rent this property again.

Everything we could have asked for

Our stay was everything we could have asked for. Plenty of activities to do in the game room, nice open area in the back, and a fireplace to cozy up to during the night. Perfect Mountain Get Away

Nature's Cove was the perfect retreat for our week at Lake Harmony. The property was so charming. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, located minutes from the lake. Annette was responsive with any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great week!
