The cabin was very clean and cozy! We enjoyed the peaceful view and privacy. The only thing I would change is the couch. It was so worn we were not able to sit on it. Everything else was superb!

This spot was lovely - the cabin is outfitted well, the spot is peaceful, quiet and fairly private, even though it’s close to a few other cabins. The cabin was extremely clean and the hot water worked (yay!) so we did not experience the hot water issue other guests reported. My only complaint, and reason I didn’t give 5 stars: silverware was dirty and had crusted on icky stuff (not from us). I reached out to Vacasa customer service and did not receive a follow up. Two other issues: there was not a spatula provided for cooking (or “turner”) and the light in the hot tub did not work. Other than the dirty silverware and couple of minor issues, we had an amazing stay and really loved this getaway.

Silverware and dishware was semi clean . Nearly no hot water for the tub , had to boil water . Also ran out of water by our 3rd morning . Hot tub has no cover, also is locked at a temp and is semi warm during the cold season .

Nice environment, terrible setvice

This cabin is very private and a nice layout. However, we arrived to no warm or hot water for a shower, and we left very disappointed after 3 days of no hot water to shower in. The mattress was old and uncomfortable, just as I saw written in earlier reviews. We made the best of it, but just left for home after 2 days/evenings verses the 3 evenings we paid for. I would not recommend this Vacasa rental.

Perfect Romantic Getaway Cabin

We stayed at this cabin for our Anniversary weekend and it was the perfect secluded, romantic cabin! It was still close to Helen, but also close to other activities! We definitely would stay here again!

Celebrating Anniversary

We loved where it was and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the screened porch with the hot tub. The only negative was having enough hot water for showers and the jacuzzi. I'm not to familiar with hot tubs but it stated filter on the screen, so I assumed a filter change was needed. Overall we would love to stay there again.

Weekend Getaway

Like many said before, the door code did not work. In fact, the first four door codes given to us didn't work. Then a "file" had to be made while we waited outside for the girl to get in touch with the property manager. After a while, we got in. The place is nicely laid out for two people, no more! There is no pantry so no place to put groceries that aren't refrigerated. Also, there is a heart shaped tub! We laughed at that and wondered, why? The hot tub on the deck was large enough for 4 people and worked well. However, it was off when we arrived, and the temp was at 67 degrees. It took 24 hours to heat up, so we didn't get to use it more than once. Also, the floor register in the bedroom is actually open to the outside, no duck connected! Never saw anything like it. You could see the ground through it. The place is very close to Helen and Ruby Falls. Mgt was available and pleasant. Overall, I liked the place. It's really cute, but it wasn't a great value. The fees and taxes make it comparable to larger units.

Perfect for a couples getaway. Cabin was clean and well equipped. The hot tub definitely a plus. Check in and check out process was easy. Location is minutes from touristy town, but far away to feel secluded.

Nice hideaway in the woods

Easy to find, had everything we needed and great internet. No cable or satellite TV, but we didn’t really mind. Stayed in late October so the sounds of falling acorn on the metal roof was jarring, but we can’t talk away a star for that.

Home away from Home

It was in a quite spot in the woods away from roads. The house was a lovely one bedroom with all the amenities you want for a few days away from home. The hot tub was fantastic and had a Jaquise tub inside the cabin.

Victorian Secret

Rental was great for me and my daughter to get away from life for a few days. The entry code failed. We held for 15-20 minutes for the call to be answered and it took 3 reset codes to get one to open the door. He was very professional and helpful. We also texted two numbers that were answered about 15 minutes later. Just a little stressful. The hot tub doesn’t heat past 96-7 which is warm bathwater. We used it once hoping it would reach 100 but it never did. We needed the time away and made the best of it but after all our stays with these cabins (Blue Ridge and Vacasa) this one disappointed.

Not the serenity we hoped for

We liked how secluded the cabin itself was but it was not as peaceful as we hoped for. We arrived about 45 minutes early and requested to check in, they politely told us we couldn’t (no big deal). We returned at 4, the cleaning service was in there and we were told we needed to wait 10+ minutes; she needed to vacuum still. The floor wasn’t getting mopped and no way the hot tub was drained, as advertised. The discouragement started to set in; I was hopeful after the responses on other reviews to the hot tub concerns, it would be in working condition. After all, a secluded cabin and hot tub away from society was exactly what we needed. NOPE, it only was warm the first night, the second day and night it was cold and jets wouldn’t come on. Vacasa did text to make sure check-in went smoothly, when I told them about the wait they didn’t seem to care so when the coffee pot didn’t work the next morning I didn’t bother them. There was someone else’s hair on the bathroom sink and in the shower and an earring and the complimentary shampoo was used :( Also, I think we figured it’s acorns, but at night the sounds of rocks or limbs hitting the tin roof is down right startling and constant. If it’s acorns then it’s seasonal but at times it literally sounds like gun shots. Lastly, someone else mentioned the mattress, it definitely is warped and you roll to the middle. Between the mattress and the small cavalry on the roof we didn’t sleep at all. I didn’t want to leave this kind of review but I also didn’t want to have this kind of experience after paying what we did to not enjoy what little time we get away from work and kids.

Wonderful Anniversary Getaway

Cabin was just as described and perfect for my boyfriend and me celebrating our anniversary. The mattress was like sleeping on a cloud and the hot tub was wonderful. Just a short drive to Helen and surrounding activities. The only suggestion would be to fix the driveway to the cabin. A few decent size wash out spots, but had plenty of room for turning around.

Only hot water was in the hot tub.

The A/C and Wi-Fi worked great. Only lukewarm water was available in the bathroom and kitchen. We did not use the heart-shaped tub because of the lack of hot water and there was mold around the jets. The shower/tub had mold and soap scum around the drain. The bed was very comfortable, but the couch was horrible. The dogs enjoyed the screened-in porch, and the hot tub was great. The driveway to the cabin is very steep and is not paved and full of potholes. Make sure to arrive in daylight because the signs for the cabins are very difficult to see.

Great weekend cabin

The pictures and information was accurate. Bed was very comfortable, had everything you need. Only complaint was the controls on the hot tub were not working so you could not control the temperature, the jets or the lights but it was still a nice temp after a long day of hiking! It was a great little cabin for my husband and I.

Nice Little Cabin

Very nice little cabin for 2. Nice area and all the cabins in the area are nice also. Cell phone service is pretty bad once you get close to the cabin so make sure you print out your map and directions. Had a couple of issues while there with a leaking toilet and the A/C filter was clogged. They responded within 10 minutes of my text so the customer service is excellent. Fireplace was nice but if possible bring firewood with you. Kinda pricey in town. I would definitely recommend the cabin to anyone.

Heart Tub!

We had a great time at this cabin. The heart shaped tub is what made us book, so please never get rid of it! The bed isn’t the best, but we slept fine. Hot tub took forever to heat up and we were finally able to use it on our last night. Loved the rotating TV stand in the middle of the cabin so you could watch on the sofa or in the bed. Make sure to bring your own kitchen supplies! Important to note: the coffee maker stays on all day if you don’t turn it off. Everything was clean! Would recommend, especially because of the heart tub.
