The accommodations were excellent. We like the location of Sapphire. Overall, a very nice place to stay for enjoying the NC mountains.

Nice place, great renovations

Really nice unit, a great location. The rooms are very nice, great for a quick weekend away. The amenities are nice, and the lake is great for a nice walk or just to sit and relax.

Rain in the NC Mountains

This was our first time to Sapphire Valley and the only thing that really got in the way of our stay was the rain - which started as soon as we arrived and quit on the way home. Beautiful area.

Fairway Forest

This property was actually much nicer and more newly updated than compared to the pics shown on Vrbo. We were very pleasantly surprised!! Only complaint is that walls are very thin. Also make sure you know about the amenities fee that is not added to your rental agreement ($21.95 per day plus tax)

Lovely but…

Loved this unit. Very clean and comfortable. Wish I had gotten my checkin email a couple of days before. Had trouble tracking down the checkin information as it was not sent until the day of.

Noisy

Loved the space, it was recently renovated and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Would have given 5 stars except any noise made next door is very loud in our room. Was very hard to sleep because it was so loud with the guests and then the cleaning crew. I'd go back if it weren't for the noise.

Sapphire Visit

Weather and conditions fantastic! Although the unit was very well decorated, the layout was horrible! The "14 steps" became a major inconvenience! Living room upstairs, all else downstairs. No chairs in the bedroom to watch the TV!

Disappointed

The unit layout was really good. Spacious. However, we were in the B unit of a connecting overall unit. Walls were "thin" and neighbors were noisy. There was a yellow jacket infestation at base of the balcony sliding door so the balcony was not accessible. The mgmt co. offered to move us but we were already unpacked and settled in the unit should not have been made available for rent. Too bad. It would otherwise have been fine. Won't return.

Great place to enjoy the area

This condo was better than advertised. Very enjoyable and clean and comfortable. Beware though that the connecting walls are thin and you can hear and be heard . More wastebaskets ( only 1) and no ice trays were the only other downsides. Amenities on property are really nice. Check out the pools and boat dock for canoeing etc! Spectacular views!

Great place to relax
