Located on the quiet side of The Cove Lakeside Resort, overlooking Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park, this unit offers a large wrap around patio with lots of room for outdoor dining, warm afternoons and mountain sunsets 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, w/ double, double bunk bed in second room. Sleeps 6 with private garden/grass area, pathway to lake, tennis court and easy access parking. Hiking, biking, walking trails all in your backyard. Private beach area, with access to marina, boat rentals, kayak, paddleboard, or jet skis. Resort offers restaurant/bar service (public access during open hours). 45 minutes from Kelowna International Airport and 3.5 hours from Vancouver. 1.2 hrs to Big White, Apex Alpine. 10 wineries within 10 minutes. Lovely condo as described. As other reviewers have noted, the patio is the best. It’s nice to be on the quiet side of the resort with lots of privacy. The condo was well-equipped and there was even Tupperware for leftover storage which was greatly appreciated. Would stay here again!

Fantastic suite, great location and terrific host!

Excellent stay for everyone. Started with girls getaway weekend and ended with a family vacation. Super clean and lots to do close by. Mike was very knowledgeable of the area and accommodating with check out (had to return for forgotten items). Highly recommend this property and host.

Perfect family getaway

Great stay at the Cove

Our family just returned from a wonderful week at the Cove. Mike was a friendly and helpful host and made us feel very welcome. The unit was very clean and well appointed. We loved the huge corner patio - at any time of day, you can choose shade or sun. The resort amenities are fantastic for children - our daughters spent hours going down the waterslide. Great condo & location

This 2 bedroom condo is perfect for a family vacation. It is clean, well kept and comfortable and Mike is a great host… Communication with him is easy and timely. A wrap around patio on the main floor in a quiet part of the complex makes for added space for relaxing and entertaining. The Cove at Lakeside has all the amenities one would want. We would definitely recommend this condo and will stay here again.

Fantastic!

Beautiful unit and resort. Mike was incredibly helpful and met us at the unit for check in to go through everything. The resort had all the amenities we could ask for. The unit was very clean and everything we needed was supplied for a week long stay as a family. The unit has a huge deck and was located in a quiet corner of the resort. We would highly recommend a stay here to everyone.

Perfect family basecamp in Kelowna

We had a fantastic stay at this unit in West Kelowna. This was our family's 1st visit to the Lake Okanagan area. At first, we were not sure where to stay in the area. This condo was the right choice, and it made our trip special with lots of new memories. The pools and waterslide were a huge hit with the kids, and one afternoon, we reserved the resort's 18-person movie theatre. The ground floor location with access to the condo was great for our family. Still private but access to the resort pathways are a quick walk down steps. Playground and trails right outside the resort. Mike was responsive and helpful with tips for checking out the area. We can't wait to return next year and explore more of the area.

Perfect spot at The Cove

We just stayed at Michael’s place for the past seven days and had an incredible family holiday. Michael was a relaxed and easy host to communicate with and the property was perfect for our family of four. Our four year old son loved the bunk beds and our four month old daughter fit perfectly in the large primary bedroom with us. The unit was clean and well stocked and the oversized balcony got the absolute best evening sun. Having access to the in-suite laundry was a huge bonus. The Cove itself has everything you need for an amazing family holiday. The pool has a water slide which was a huge hit and the close proximity to wineries was a perfect. We will definitely be back and staying at Michael’s place again!

Quiet main floor unit at the cove

We stayed a week at this unit. It was very clean and well appointed. We brought all of our own food and cooked most of the time and had no issues. We found the unit quiet and it has a very large wrap around patio which had both sun and shade so that was lovely. Easy access from the outdoor parking lot which is nice to load your stuff from the car without having to rely on elevators etc. We enjoyed walking the Gellatly walk path along the water each morning. Mike was very responsive to inquiries but we didn’t really need much! Will definitely book again and recommend this unit.

Perfect Family Vacation

We just returned from a fantastic week- long vacation in unit 138. The unit was well stocked with everything a family needs to prepare meals as well as extras to fully enjoy what the resort has to offer. The unit was very clean and well-kept and Michael was very easy to communicate with. The unit has an awesome patio and is right near the tennis courts, which was great for us. Early morning walks through the Gellatly nut farm or coffee on the beach is easy as the unit is ground floor and you can simply step off the patio. The pool and waterslide were thoroughly enjoyed by the entire family and the grounds are beautifully kept. The beach is excellent for toddlers to explore and was excellent as an early-morning outing. This was definitely a stress-free vacation in an awesome resort!

Excellent property

This property deserves a 5 start review, beautiful unit with so many supplies to make you feel at home. Loved the king size bed, the bunk beds were a great surprise, and the sofa bed was ideal. The deck was spectacular , I personally booked this unit because the deck looked spacious and I should say I was not disappointed, loved the deck ! The host , Mike , was great, he made the process so easy , he provided all the information needed for the unit and the building, the use of pool and common areas ,. This is a beautiful corner unit on the main floor with great privacy and parking is just next to it, direct access to the lake is a 5 min walk with beautiful landscaping . Also, great rentals for boats, the swimming pool was nice with great service and organization keeping everyone safe during a pandemic. I can’t wait to book this beautiful Unit for our next Kelowna vacation . Thank you Mike for such a great experience.

What an amazing week… didn’t want to leave!

What a wonderful stay here! I was so excited to find a unit available at The Cove through VRBO. I initially inquired about the property in February with Mike. He responded quickly and was able to answer questions. The two bedroom unit is PERFECT for any families with young children. It is ground level and is away from the noise since it is a resort. It has a really big patio area that’s perfect to have a bbq, lay out, or sit and have a morning coffee. The kids were able to play along the grass area too. On the other side was a nice little playground for the kids to go to at the Gellatly nut farm. Check in was easy. Mike met up with us and gave us a quick guide to the unit and getting our way around. Mike was so quick to respond… We were locked out of the unit one evening and he came lightning speed to rescue us! The unit was also very clean. Kitchen was well equipped too. Towels were available for the beach and pool area. The second bedroom was perfect for our little ones with the bunk beds. Master bedroom was spacious and had a enough closet and drawers space. The pool at the resort is great for kids. Lots of umbrellas for shade. Water slide was just enough for kids. The main pool even had a 0.5 feet area which is great for little ones. There is a restaurant and a spa to the resort. Food was really good at the restaurant. We will 100% be back. Biggest regret is thinking we only needed to stay for a week. Thank you Mike for being such a great host and offering the perfect place to stay.

The location was amazing, close enough to all the wineries we could handle! There was a great walking path towards the pool or just cut through the hotel for quick access. We used the gym and it was a nice supplement for us to keep us going through vacation. Family Vacation

We had a wonderful one week stay at the Cove in August. The property was clean and spacious for a family of four. The pool and beach were within a close walking distance from the property. Mike was very friendly and great to deal with. Always a quick phone call or text away. I would highly recommend this property to others.

Fabulous property - wonderful stay!

5 star plus property. Incredible complex with so many amenities. Wonderful unit, well laid out and equipped with everything you could possibly need for an incredible stay - kitchen was well stocked, bbq, bbq pit complete with skewers to roast marshmallows, pool towels, etc. Very quiet location in the complex with great privacy and loved the ground floor outside door access. The wrap around large deck was the key selling feature for us and didn’t disappoint. From 10am until sundown you had sunny and shady areas to enjoy. Lovely walking trail around the property - 5 minutes to the lake / beach. Beautiful pool area - managed extremely well to adhere to COVID safety regulations. Easy access to Glen Canyon hiking trails. The host Mike was fabulous - great communication ahead of our stay providing all the details required. Met us onsite when we arrived providing a great orientation of the unit and the property. We will definitely stay again and look forward to next summer!! Many thanks Mike for a wonderful stay and fabulous vacation experience.

Wonderful vacation

This was a great place to stay. Close to everything that was needed. Wonderful area for walking along trails and lake. The property was beautiful. The outside entrance was such a bonus and the patio was large and covered for shade on different areas throughout the day. There was very comfortable beds and well laid out and lots of room for six people.

We have owned this unit since pre-construction of The Cove Lakeside Resort in 2004. When it opened in 2006 our three daughters where 2,5 and 6 years old. Growing up, we enjoyed every summer vacation there, boating, beaching, wedding watching, hiking, biking and relaxing in the warm Okanagan summer sun. We now live in West Kelowna full time and the kids are grown up. We love the opportunity to let other families enjoy creating the same amazing memories.

Ground floor, easy access to grass, walking path, tennis/pickleball/basketball court and of course a quick walk down to the beach or pool/water slide, fire pits etc.

But the best part, (we think) is returning to the nice quiet side of the building away from all the business of the resort and relax on the spacious deck watching the sun set behind the mountains.
