Okanagan Lakefront Condo 2 Bed/2 Bath

The Strand Lakeside is located 6 km from downtown Vernon on beautiful Okanagan Lake.
Our top floor condo looks out on to the courtyard with mountain and partial views of the lake. It is very spacious and sleeps up to 6.
There are 2 bedrooms furnished with king size beds, and 2 full bathrooms. The living room has a queen size sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a breakfast bar. Other ammenidies included are: in-suite laundry, bar fridge, cozy fireplace, a private deck with a gas BBQ and full cable and internet. The property is well maintained and has a marina, private beach with a marked-off swimming area, a large heated outdoor pool that is open from May longweekend thru late September, a hot tub that is open year round, and underground parking.
A Private Boat Slip is also available to rent, please inquire for more details.
We offer a monthly rate.
There are several golf courses, wineries and Silver Star Ski Resort in the area.

This condo is great! It is as advertised, the grounds are kept very nice and the condo is well equipped with everything that you need. We didn’t use the beach or pool area but went to Canoe beach just a 15-20 minute walk away. The host responds quickly and makes everything very easy for you. Thank you we certainly enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful place

We spent a very enjoyable month hiking and biking around Vernon and Lake Country. The condo is well maintained and equipped as was the pool and hot tub area. The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. My only suggestion would be a bike rack in the garage . We hope to return again to explore the areas we missed!

We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Mid-week during the day it was very quiet with only a few other guests. The condo was so comfortable with a well outfitted kitchen. We had everything we needed including oven safe dishes, and a handful of seasonings and condiments. Denise was a great host. The check-in/out process was a breeze. Highly recommend booking. Also Vernon is a great destination. We kayaked several lakes in the surrounding area, enjoyed dinner at the Edge restaurant and great pizza at Masiero’s. There’s also a small grocery store just down the street. Very convenient.

Perfect getaway

The condo was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed to cook all our meals. Lovely views of the surrounding hills and the courtyard from the deck. Easy beach access and secure underground parking. Would definitely stay here again.

Christmas Delight

The owner went out of their way to make our Christmas stay at this unit very special . From a Christmas Tree to festive holiday decor right down to the stockings hung by the fireplace - we were pleasantly surprised . Not our first visit to stay at the Strand and won’t be the last - looking forward to our next stay.

Comfortable and Convenient

My husband and I enjoyed staying in this unit. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, the unit was comfortable and contained all that we needed for our stay, and the location is ideal to explore the area. We would book this unit again!

Wonderful stay on the beach

We stayed 5 days in August at this beautiful and very clean condo. The kitchen is well equipped, and beds were very comfortable. The resort is very nice and quiet, has a private beach and a pool great to relax, and a place to leave you SUP board or canoe. The resort location is close to the orchards and shopping, as well as the bike trails. Owner was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Definitely would recommend this place!

Great Stay

Everything was exactly as advertised. Check-in/out process was very clearly detailed and smooth. Amenities are excellent. Only glitch was the A/C wasn't working and couldn't be fixed during our 3 night stay. Owner supplied two tower fans to help. Fortunately the weather wasn't too hot so we could manage and very much enjoyed our stay.

Vernon get away

We were very pleased with the clean and very comfortable condo.there were no photos of the rooms online so we were pleasantly surprised. The pool was beautiful and warm for these cooler Autumn days. We appreciated the book informing us of our responsibilities as we a Have never stayed in a Vrbo before and also the list of things to do in Vernon. If we could suggest one thing it would have been nice to have a movie channel to unwind at night.

Exquisite Home Away from Home: A Perfect VRBO Experience!

We found our own little paradise, a secluded oasis on Okanagan Lake a short distance from downtown Vernon, yet far enough away to feel like you were no where near the city. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the sense of exclusivity and the feeling of being safe and secure with the luxury of access to our own private beach and docks and secure underground parking. Denise was wonderful to communicate with and answered all of our questions immediately. We feel fortunate to have found this little haven where every moment was imbued with a sense of serenity and indulgence. If we return to the area, we will absolutely be re-booking. For anyone who cares about beds and bedding: EXCELLENT!! The pillows were a dream!

Fantastic Apartment, Facility & Location.

The Apartment is luxurious and comfortable. Amazing storage. The Entry cupboard perfect for storing coats, bags and boots/shoes. We only used spacious rear bedroom suite, which had His/Her Closets outside that bathroom. The second bathroom was perfectly sited for use as a main bathroom. The kitchen was large, beautifully appointed with quality appliances, ice making double frig/freezer. Elegant China, glassware and cookware. Keurig Coffee maker and dishwasher. The BBQ Deck was fabulous for sun and fresh air and views to Lake or the stunning mountains beyond. The Complex is fastidiously clean. Fast Elevator and the dedicated car space in basement car park made entry/exit easy. The Managaress was very attentive and helpful. We miss it already.

Best unit at Strand!

Truly the best unit in the complex! Very quiet as it's on the top floor with no adjacent units. The beach and marina are just steps away from the complex. Beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything you need. Wi-Fi was very fast. We didn't use the TVs, but there's one in each bedroom and one above the fireplace. The swimming pool was already drained for the winter when we stayed (mid Oct); the hot tub was still operational, which we wanted to use but didn't have the time. The gas bbq was clean and easy to use. Underground parking spot is close to the elevator, and there's a luggage cart to help move your stuff in and out of the suite. The parking spot is great if you're worried about door dings because there's a pillar on one side and a handicap spot on the other side, which also hosts a bike rack. Check-in was easy and Denise was very responsive. Will definitely try to stay here again next year!
