Everything was great. Comfortable and had all that is required away from home. Pet friendly is a big advantage, we always get take our border collie "Shep" with us.

Beautiful location

Really enjoyed our stay. What an amazing location to sit and look at from the deck with a BBQ and wine. Lovely walks, and fishing.

Amazing Hideaway!

Amazing spot, cutest little bach! Perfect for a weekend getaway with loved ones. Enjoyed the BBQ & the option to take out the dingy. All around great stay & great place!

Absolute bliss comes straight to mind The views were amazing and the crib had everything we needed and a lot of extras. Set up for dogs was great We cant wait to return and explore more of the lake and hopefully catch a few more brown trout Big thanks to the hosts

Relaxing Stay

Great to get away from it all. Nice relaxing spot. Family enjoyed walking and playing in the lake and mud. Loved the kiwi crib atmosphere, it was lovely and cozy and we enjoyed playing the boardgames and watching DVD's at night. Such a short distance from Dunedin which is a bonus.

Idyllic

Surprised that their were no sheets on bed and had an outside toilet. Cottage was well equipped and very cosy. Views were gorgeous and we really enjoyed our stay

It is stated in the advert for the bach that linen is not supplied. Ownwers supply of sheets, towels and tea towels were used and left in a damp bundle in the shower and owner was not informed of their use. No extra charge was made for their use. I believe the toilet was only a problem as the guest had sprained her ankle before arriving at the bach. cheers

Serenity

Very well-equipped kiwi bach with stunning water front views. We had an extremely relaxing weekend here. It was amazing to be able to bring our dogs as well, they had a lot of fun swimming in the lake.

Glad you enjoyed our bach. Sorry about the water issue, we had just put in a new cistern flush activator and thought we had it fixed but when we saw it had dumped 1000lts of water, we replace the filler valve and, fingers crossed, it is fixed. Cheers Daryl and Margy

A trip back down memory lane when baches were baches! Simple and set in a peaceful ever changing landscape. The night sky is extraordinary!

The property was great! Very peaceful weekend for my family & I while we were there for the All Blacks game. Would love to return in the warmer months to make the most of the lake & the utilities that were available to us. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends & whānau. Postponed our stay

Unfortunately, due to my broken leg and then emergency surgery on it, we were unable to make our booking. Our host was wonderfully understanding and has agreed to allow us to rebook later in the year. Thank you, we are really looking forward to a stay.

Lake side crib

The crib is clean and tidy and a great place to relax. Im sure it would be better if my partner didn't have a broken leg. We plan on returning.

Great, quiet spot. Didnt realise there was an outhouse - no biggy but I took my Dad who is not so well & unsteady on his feet and worried about him using toilet at night. Booked 3 nights but could only stay 2 due to my Dad needing to go to back into care.
