This adorable cottage close to the beach had everything we needed for a perfect stay in Galveston! It was Clean, very close to the beach, and had an adorable front porch and back deck with plenty of space to relax in the beautiful weather. The beds were so comfy, and the host was friendly. Adorable house tastefully decorated with coastal theme and full of character. Very cozy and conveniently located to everything. Beds were very comfortable. We ate out the entire time but kitchen seemed to be sufficiently stocked should we needed to have cooked. We did worry about street noise since house is located close to the corner but it was not an issue, especially upstairs. Would definitely rent again.

We adored this cottage. It was very close to the beach and easily navigable to all areas of interest. We had a snafu with the hot water nozzle in a bathroom and the rectified it immediately. I would very much stay here again. Galveston was so much fun!

The Coastal Cottage is convenient to anything you want to do in Galveston. We enjoyed how quiet it was at night, and it’s easily walkable to the beach. The back yard is private and the parking out front worked well. We addressed a couple of issues with our host that had no bearing on our review. Would love to stay again if in the area, and thought it was a great charming spot!

The house was very nice as shown in the pictures. Clean, good location. The main floor bedroom had a small full-size mattress which could not accommodate comfortably two sleepers. We had a hard time locating spatulas and cooking tools until we were packing up to go, and they were inside a bottom cupboard that we did not look in. There was only one washcloth in the main bath room, which was inadequate. There were no sponges or washcloths in the kitchen to wipe the counters down or wipe dishes off only a sponge on a wand. Otherwise, it was a nice, comfortable, clean and well decorated home.
