Lake Orchard Farm Cottage is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with a full basement. Sleeps 12 comfortably (three queen beds, one full bed, one queen sofa sleeper, one double futon in the basement). Included with the rental of the cottage: satellite TV, wireless internet, full basement with recreation room and bar (and additional sleeping space for children), fully equipped kitchen (meals are not included), on-site golf, Lake Michigan views, gas grill, lawn games, and backyard with fire pit, children's swing set and sandbox. Pack and play and high chair also available. Linens and towels provided.

Our sixth generation farm is ideal for your vacation, reunion, retreat, or special event. The historical, picturesque setting has opportunities for recreation both on-site and nearby. Located near Sheboygan, Wisconsin, our farm has rolling fields, natural woods, fruit orchards and a Lake Michigan view. We offer accommodations for couples in our Bed & Breakfast, groups and families in our cottage, and event space in our newly remodeled event barn.

Our 4-room B&B is your perfect couple's retreat. The rooms are named in honor of the gracious women who welcomed visitors to our family farm in years past. Fresh farm breakfast daily included in your B&B stay. Complimentary golf, foot golf, bikes, and snow shoes. No pets allowed.

Our 4-bedroom family friendly cottage can sleep up to 13 guests. Fully equipped kitchen for preparing your own meals. Recreation room in the basement, large yard with patio, fire pit, children's play structure, and gas grill. No pets allowed.

All accommodations are non-smoking. Cancellation policy listed is our default policy. *Please note that reservations made for special events (PGA golf tournaments, Ryder Cup, etc.) are final and no cancellations/refunds will be given.

The property is on a very good location. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We had a great time relaxing over the weekend. Just be aware that the ground water here has sulphur smell. Other than that, everyone loved the trip

The pictures of the property include other buildings and not all are included in the cottage. There are no whirlpool tubs in the cottage, No pool table and there was no WIFI which made our stay a little difficult with me having to work but got things figured out with using my phone as a hotspot. Short term fix. There is some updating that needs to be done. The kids (25-30 yrs old) slept on top of the quilts using their own blankets and pillows which is what they do. We are old school and use what is there. Bring your own pillow!!!! We left a list of things that need updating or replaced. It is a beautiful location and a fantastic place to stay. Owners just need to take a little pride in what they have and do a little more to make the place worth the 1800 price tag for a 2 night & 3 day stay. Investing a couple hundred dollars would go a long way to replace blankets & pillows and having a couple extra in the closet. Very clean and beautiful view of Lake Michigan morning and night. We happen to have a wedding party renting the other facilities and were very rude which is not the owner's fault but made the stay a little more difficult as this individual thought their party owned the entire property though they were not using the entire 20 acres. Young and dumb and needs to learn some respect.If we had the opportunity, we would stay here again under other circumstances.

Ideal for our event, beautiful view, just could use some new sheets.

We loved the flexibility of the cottage space for a larger group and the view was amazing! The ONLY concern the students had was that the pillows and sheets had stains on them and they weren't too keen on the pull out mattress. Something that could be very cheap to update and make a big difference for customers!

Birthday gathering

Country side, great lake views! Friendly owner who lives on the property and it was nice to see his dogs and family. It is a old house aged and maintained but still had musty smell when walked in. Water is well water with stronf sulfur amell. Appliances and sofas are also old but gets the job done. We overall had a great time. Property manager is very responsive and helpful. We bought aome country eggs on our way back.

Nate and Mary Calkins are the 6th generation to run the family farm. They moved to the farm in 2005 and opened the Bed and Breakfast in February of 2009, in the completely remodeled farm hatchery building. They have 2 children, Marcus and Juliet. Owning and operating the Bed and Breakfast, cottage, event barn, & aquaponics greenhouse is a labor of love. They are both passionate about sustainable agriculture and education. Nate also does consulting for the aquaponics industry and has a background in structural engineering. Mary also works as a school counselor and has a background in psychology. Nate enjoys greeting our guests and giving them a warm welcome, and Mary enjoys cooking our guests a farm fresh breakfast daily. You may also encounter our friendly farm dogs, Daisy & Sparky. In the warmer months, our chickens free range outside in our orchard, and our friendly goats, Calvin and Lionel roam about in their outdoor goat pen. Enjoy a leisurely walk around the farm, visit the animals, play a round of golf, hike our lakefront trail, or relax on our lake deck while reading your favorite book or enjoying a glass of wine.
