The Holiday House is currently unavailable for new bookings in 2026 as it will be placed on the market in the new year. The four self-contained units will continue to operate as normal and remain available for guests until approximately April 2026.

This exquisite beach house features 4 air-conditioned bedrooms. The expansive master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, and beautiful sea views. Two queen bedrooms offer comfort, while the 4th bedroom features 2 double/single bunk beds. Additionally, the upstairs loungeroom provides 2 double sofa beds. Enjoy 2 living rooms, outdoor dining spaces, and a games room. With 2.5 bathrooms and 2 kitchens, your comfort is paramount. Linen, bath towels, tea, and coffee are provided. Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi during your stay (available exclusively at the holiday house). The living areas offer a tropical and breezy ambiance, louvered windows and bifold doors, enabling the flow of refreshing sea breezes.

Our property offers an array of options for your stay. For guests over 12, or those looking for separate bookings, we have 4 self-contained units. These air-conditioned units feature a queen and single bed, ensuite bathrooms, compact kitchenettes, and a shared outdoor kitchen space.

Minimum 2-night stay for the holiday house. Overnight stays in the units are welcome.

As a guest of the holiday house, you'll have exclusive use of the refreshing plunge pool, perfect for cooling off and relaxation. The outdoor amenities also include a hooded BBQ, firepit, and a ping pong table. The games room has an eight-ball pool table, a classic arcade machine featuring 60 old-school games. Both living rooms feature large smart TVs and DVD players for versatile entertainment including streaming and DVD watching.

Walking on the beach and witnessing breathtaking sunrises and sunsets can be a truly serene and captivating experience. The play of colours across the sky, the sound of the waves, and the peaceful atmosphere creates a sense of tranquility and beauty.

If you're a fishing enthusiast and equipped with a boat, the nearby Mandorah Jetty offers a convenient boat ramp, opening doors to aquatic escapades. Alternatively, test your skills by casting off from the beach or rock bars, merely 50m from your backyard. With an array of catches such as Barramundi, Snapper, Black Jewfish, Tuna, Threadfin Salmon, and Mangrove Jack, your fishing horizons are wide. Mud crabs are in abundance in the NT waters. Join the excitement of the million-dollar fish challenge, as a $10,000 Barramundi was reeled in just off the Golden Sands beachfront a mere couple of seasons ago. Your angling adventure awaits.

The spacious open living areas of the house seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing you to soak in the beauty of the sea, the beach, the trees, and the vibrant birdlife surrounding you.

While we welcome well-behaved dogs, kindly note that they are not permitted inside the house. The property is fully fenced for your convenience.

Sorry, no parties allowed, or no more people onsite than agreed on the rental booking/agreement. Special functions can be allowed pending management approval.

The Cox Country Club Bar and Restaurant is open for dinner Thu-Sun & lunch Sat-Sun. Meet friendly locals over a cold beverage and enjoy great Aussie pub meals. Enjoy the music (regular live bands also) over a free game of darts or eight ball pool, whilst your kids play on the playground. Free transport from Golden Sands to and from the club is available.

Wagait Beach Supermarket is a licensed supermarket and fuel outlet. The supermarket is open 7 days a week (closed on Christmas Day) and offers a wide range of groceries, Bottlemart, fuel, bait, ice, fishing tackle, gas, takeaway food, ferry tickets and more.
