Welcome to the Motueka Getaway!
Our funky three-bedroom suntrap offers cheerful open-plan living overlooking the large yard. This house is fresh and functional, with new carpet and paint throughout. An HRV system, built-in fire place and ceiling fan help to keep the temperature comfortable throughout the seasons. A brand new heatpump/ air conditioner has been recently installed.

The bedrooms include a queen, a king single and two single beds, as well as a sofa bed in the lounge for added flexibility.

The modern kitchen includes a double oven, microwave and gas cooktop, as well as a brand-new dishwasher.

The older-style bathroom (with shower, bath and separate toilet) is perfectly clean and functional, and the laundry is an asset for longer-term guests.

The property is fully fenced, and is tucked down a quiet back section. Please feel free to enquire about bringing your pet - we are happy to discuss this with you. There is plenty of off-street parking for a caravan or boat.

The landscaping is still an enthusiastic work-in-progress – watch this space! In the meantime, help yourself to fresh herbs from the garden and any fruit that happens to be ripening on the trees during your stay.

Children are very welcome here, and we’ve provided some books, toys and outdoor play equipment to help make their stay more exciting and yours more relaxing.

The Motueka Getaway is well appointed and well located – in less than 10 minutes, you can stroll to Motueka’s main street. Kaiteriteri Beach is 15 minutes’ drive away, and you can be at the foot of the Abel Tasman National Park in 20 minutes.

Your hosts live in Motueka and have lots of local knowledge, so please send us your questions or comments!

The house was incredibly spacious and beautifully furnished. The beds were very comfortable as was the stylish furniture. We all felt the house had a lot of charm and character plus there was a lovely garden area with a lemon tree, a grapefruit tree and a play shed for children. We wished we had booked the house for longer!

Quiet and convenient

Quiet, relaxing, clean, airy, comfortable beds, spacious. A lovely original home hidden inside the middle of a residential block with an enormous backyard of fruit, veg and herbs, all available. For people without a car, this is close to stops for bus to/from Nelson, pickups for Abel Tasman and seaside walks.
