Cette maison de quatre chambres récemment rénovée est située au sommet d'une colline surplombant la rivière Chebogue à l'est et les champs agricoles à l'ouest. Les quatre chambres et la salle de bains se trouvent toutes à l'étage supérieur de cette maison à deux niveaux. Au rez-de-chaussée, vous trouverez une grande cuisine avec coin repas, un salon confortable avec télévision, un salon supplémentaire pour recevoir vos voyageurs, ainsi qu’une salle de bains. En parcourant le rez-de-chaussée, vous arriverez à deux portes-fenêtres donnant sur une grande terrasse équipée d’un barbecue et offrant une vue imprenable sur la rivière Chebogue et les collines agricoles vallonnées. Une autre terrasse, plus petite, attenante au porche, est idéale pour déguster un verre de vin et admirer de magnifiques couchers de soleil. The house was very clean in an awesome location if you are planning on doing anything in the. Yarmouth , Digby area and a nice quiet spot to relax even on a rainy day. Hosts were very easy to deal with and even left us a little treat for when we arrived over all I would give this spot a 10/10

Wonderful spot for families!

We spent a week with our family (2 children and 4 adults). There was lots of space for everyone for sleeping and in the common areas. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies needed and lots of space to store food. Overall everything was very comfortable and we really enjoyed our time there. We would definitely return again!

Ruthanne and Sheridan’s wonderful home in Yarmouth Nova Scotia

Ruthanne and Sheridan were wonderful host. They were kind enough to meet us at the ferry and drive us to their home. The house was warm and comfortable, and we felt like we were at home. Everything was spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had all new appliances along with the washer and dryer. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect spot for our family!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this home. It is a fully and very tastefully renovated house with a well equipped kitchen. It was clean, bright and very welcoming and we felt very at home from the moment we arrived. The area is quiet, grounds nicely landscaped and is only 10 minutes from Yarmouth. We relaxed on the deck and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The owners were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying at this home to anyone.

Absolutely lovely!

We cannot say enough good things about this property. The house was beautifully renovated and extremely clean. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The living room had recliners for all, a big hit with our family! There were real plants and flowers both inside and out which I personally really appreciated. We have stayed in many VRBO’s and this was by far the nicest! The property and the views were beautiful. It was easy to get to and close to everything. To top it off the owners were fabulous to work with, very responsive.

We loved this property from the moment we walked in. It is very impressive, very spacious, nicely decorated and furnished, and extremely comfortable. The owners clearly put a great deal of thought into furnishing and equipping the house for guests. What I especially liked was all the seating areas, and seating, both inside and out. We loved sitting on the main deck in the sunshine, listening to birds, watching vultures flying around, watching the sun come up or go down, feeling soothed by the calm, quiet stillness around us.So many extras are thoughtfully provided in the house - an electric fan in every bedroom, lots of fresh towels, and so much more.There are two full, large bathrooms. Having the two of them made getting up and showering go much smoother and faster for the four of us.We were only a few minute's drive from Yarmouth, but we felt glad to be staying in this stunning and peaceful location instead of in the city.In Yarmouth we were pleasantly surprised by the number of restaurants, and we could see that we would be able to find anything we wanted in the shops and businesses in town. We were there to attend and enter in the antique car show, which was a great and very impressive event.But by far, I think, our most lasting impression of staying at this house will be the wonderful peaceful and silent location and the comfortableness within the house.We hope to return.The owners were very easy to communicate with.

Beautiful country home. 6 stars!

We were so happy with this beautifully appointed country home. Our hostess took the time to welcome us and show us around. Beautiful cut garden flowers gave the unexpected touch, which was evident in all they had prepared for us. Pictures really don’t quite show how nice this home is. Our kids raved on the house and stay. My wife felt it was perfect for a relaxing stay. Would totally recommend this for your next stay in Yarmouth!

Ruth-Anne and I (Sheridan) purchased the property in May 2019. This property is where Ruth-Anne grew up and I used to visit as a friend 45 years ago. We have been married for 33 years and have two wonderful children, Lauren and Garet. We have been renovating the property for 2 years and finally completed it in July 2021. Our first short term rental was August 5th for a 4 day rental.

As mentioned, this property was my wifes homestead growing up. She has always dreamed of owning it one day, but never thought it would be possible. We made it happen, and did alot of renovations ourselves. There is alot pride, joy and sweat equity in our property; so we are quite proud of our endeavour.

Its a unique mix of rustic and contemporary in its decor, with rural country living all mixed in. Enjoy!
