We spent a confortable and enjoyable snowbound weekend with our grandchildren. The kids especially enjoyed interacting with the goats and chickens and making large snowballs. Our only criticism was there could be more light in the main room.

Property was pet friendly but the stairs were a bit of challenge for older adults/dogs. Otherwise, loved our stay. The neighbors were adorably friendly & curious.

Very charming and comfortable! 3 adults and 1 child stayed here together. More than enough room for everyone and my niece and I loved interacting with the goats each morning of our stay : )

Peaceful cozy weekend getaway

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely cottage. The setting was very quiet. There were goats and chickens right next to the cottage that were quite entertaining. The wood stove kept the cottage warm and cozy. We stayed in the king bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very clean. We would love to return to this property.

Hellertown

Our stay was a nightmare.The house was very cold. There was a lot of cold air coming through the front door. We had to stuff plastic bags into the door frame.There was a rust colored sludge coming from the tub faucet. The hot water faucet fell off in my hand and water poured out, spewing water all over the bathroom. My husband had to go into the basement to turn the water off.We left a day early because there was no way we could stay there. Our Christmas vacation was ruined.

Sweet cottage in Hellertown PA

We rented this Cottage while in town to celebrate our mom’s 70th birthday. The cottage is a wonderful place in a beautiful setting. Cottage is an open concept for the sleeping area which worked for us. It was a little awkward having the main bath off the small back bedroom. Watching the goats & chickens from the front porch was an added bonus and the fresh eggs our host left were delicious. I would definitely recommend the Cottage if your looking for a rustic get away!

Beautiful rustic home on lovely grounds

Cozy home with excellent updates and rustic charming features. Comfortable couch, beds, covered porch with gorgeous scenery. The chickens and goats were a treat! As were the eggs. Nearby to hiking, colleges, restaurants. Plentiful towels and blankets. The bedrooms upstairs were comfortable but the lack of doors and wood floors allowed noise to really travel in the spaces. We also had to go through one of the small bedrooms to access the full bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was on the low side, and did notice a little cloudiness to the water In general. Responsive and pleasant hosts.

Great Stay

Wonderful farm cottage in Hellertown! The fresh eggs provided by the owner was a bonus. Actually had a moment to speak with the owner as she was feeding her goats and chickens when my dog decided to chase three deer that were on the property! Very friendly experience and will not hesitate to stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

We love this property! This was our second time staying at this home. We love the location and the peacefulness of the grounds. The house has everything we need and we love that we’re allowed to bring our dog. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was neat/clean, and the beds comfy. The setting was a bit too rural for us. The kitchen was not well equipped for cooking. The shower did not drain well, and we were standing in water. Additionally there were large bees.

Farmhouse Chickens and Lots of Land

Myself and my two Australian Shepherds enjoyed our stay. They had plenty of room to run and our host was very pleasant. We had fresh eggs from the chickens. I entertained my brother and his wife during dinner on Saturday, which we held on the patio. My long weekend stay was peaceful and rewarding. It was a truly wonderful experience.
