A Gem of a place

Easy place to have a break with kids

Great place to hang with kids - had to convince them we needed to return for dinner from the awesome pools that form at low tide each night when it started getting to dark to see. Great location and awesome hosts.

Beachfront bliss

My family and I came to stay at Raglan for three days. This property was just perfect for our stay. Everything that we needed was provided in the house. The property was situated on such a beautiful area and we enjoyed walking on the beach everyday. We are so thankful for our stay.

Perfection

We had a beautiful holiday in Raglan! The house is perfectly located between the surf beach and town. It was super clean and had everything we could need for our stay. We traveled with kids aged 6-17 and they all enjoyed themselves. The sea views during the day and stars at night cannot beat. Cherie is an excellent host and we would love to visit again!

Sunsets!

This property was as close to beachfront as possible for this location in Raglan. We wished we had more time as the beach walks and sunsets were unbelievably beautiful. We cruised the shops, walked, surfed, and enjoyed great Raglan food. House was easy to find, check in was easy and the host was very responsive and willing to share what she had to offer in the home.

Our stay here in was absolutely beautiful. It was so nice to just turn up and find everything ready for us — the heat pump on, the house warm and cosy despite the freezing weather outside. The place felt so homely, with a lovely fire and a beautiful folder with everything we needed to know, including information about the area. We felt safe, welcomed, and comfortable, which was so special for many of us visiting Raglan for the first time. I would absolutely recommend staying here — in fact, I already have — and I would gladly return. Thank you for making it such a perfect experience.

Way better than i hoped!

Firstly we were able to get in early , our travel was much better than expected so that was great.The house is built for the view and you can sit on the west facing lawn or the super comfy deck area watching the boats come and go, the people doing the walks, fishing, swimming and relaxing. It was an easy 30 min walk to town along the beach . Enjoyed the location and everyone slept well . We will return!

Nice property

This is an immaculately clean and tidy property with nice furnishings and a nice host. Thanks for renting it to us. As feedback to Raglan in general, we found it quite expensive for accomodations including this one compared with other beautiful coastal towns further north. The council need to do something about the waste water outlet in the estuary which certainly put us off swimming.

Great location!

Great spot to stay, very homely house with lots of art. Clean and tidy. Amazing location - sit on the deck and watch over the sea and harbour. Cherie was an amazing host and made everything super easy.

Peaceful and perfect

It's not often I come across a bach that I'm sorry to leave, as looking after small children usually zaps my energy and makes me happy to stop the holiday. This place had everything we could have hoped for plus perfect views of the Raglan Harbour. We were actually genuinely able to relax and rewind! We will definitely be back again for a longer stay :)
