We had a wonderful stay with our family. Everything was clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for our party of 8. We really appreciated all of the cozy blankets and the hot tub, and the large front porch was so much fun for the kids to play on. The house came with so many other nice touches too, like a selection of books, many board games, swim/beach towels, and even a couple of playground balls. The location was perfect for a Wimberley getaway. It felt secluded and private, with beautiful views of the night sky, but all of the destinations we wanted to visit (Old Baldy, Cypress Creek, Jacob's Well, Blue Hole) were less than a 15 minute drive away. Communication with the host was a breeze. They checked in regularly and were very responsive to questions via text. I would definitely recommend this home to any family traveling to Wimberley!

Great stay in Wimberley

We loved our stay in Wimberley at the Restful Retreat. It was close to everything but yet away enough so you could enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We really enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub!

We were very happy with the Restful Retreat on Conco Nino’s Road in Wimberley, TX. The property was exactly as described and was in fine condition when we arrived. Overall our stay was excellant. Especially positive were the large sizes of both the refrigerator and the freezer. In addition the kitchen was an excellant setup and had ample amounts of everything (plates, cups, pots, pans, etc.). All the rooms were great and we particularly liked the 3 king bedrooms in this house. The one thing we recommend is to get the information book in the house up to date. The owner had indicated in the house an 11 a.m. checkout but in the end they wanted us to leave at 10 a.m. (which we did) but the difference in information was both confusing and a disappointment. Great place to stay though for a wedding (in our case). Thanks for having the house available to us! I would absolutely rent this home again!
