Big Mauna - or "Big Mountain", is inspired by the Hawaiian culture that celebrates our connection to the land, we invite you to sit on your own big mountain during your visit to Whistler. Big Mauna, located at the Marquise complex, sits slopeside to Blackcomb Mountain, allowing you stroll across the street to your ski in and out access. In the summer, it's a quiet retreat that is close enough to anything Whistler has to offer. The recently updated interior that's been thoughtfully furnished and decorated with modern yet warm accents, coupled with the building's relaxing hot tub and pool, makes this home the ideal getaway for you to connect to our "big mauna".

Although home's interior is updated and modern, the design consciously retains that cozy ski chalet vibe. We've ensured you'll have everything you need to prepare home meals on days you're not out enjoying Whistler's food scene. You will also have access to the building's hot tub and pool, the perfect place to relax after an epic day of skiing or mountain biking. After your hot tub, relax by the fireplace and cozy up on the couch for some TV (cable and streaming capabilities included).

- Room 1: Primary bedroom, King bed, plenty of storage for clothes, ensuite to bathroom, air conditioning in the summer
- Room 2: Living room with memory foam Queen size pull-out couch, 42" SmartTV with cable, plenty of fans for the summer

LOCATION:
The Marquise is located in Whistler's Upper Village, the perfect location for ski-in/ski-out access across the street with access to the new Blackcomb Gondola. A short drive up the hill from the Four Seasons, the Marquise is a 5 minute walk away from a number of pubs and restaurants in the Upper Village, or a 12-15 minute walk to the main village. In the summer, bike trails to Lost Lake Park and the weekly Farmers Market are right on your doorstep. If you're looking to visit other parts of town, the free bus shuttle stop is right outside the complex. You'll be steps away from Lost Lake, the Valley Trail, the Fairmont Golf Course, and an extensive network of cross country bike trails. If location is important but you prefer a quiet and more luxurious environment, then this is the ideal place for you.

SKI ACCESS:
Ski Out – Walk across the road, access the short trail to the slopes to upload Blackcomb Gondola
Ski In – off Lower Cruiser/Merlin's ski run on Blackcomb Mountain to access the trail beside Cedar Creek Complex

Please be aware that ski-in/ski-out access is weather-dependent and typically available from late December through March. If you'd like confirmation of snow conditions before your arrival, feel free to reach out to our Guest Services team.

PARKING:
Paid underground secure parking is available at the complex (parking lot clearance is limited to 2.05m or 6'0” and is $25/day per vehicle).

Other things to note:
All guests are required to sign a separate rental agreement within 24 hours of booking to confirm their reservation. We will also require a piece of government ID with the name matching the name on the reservation and the credit card to be uploaded to our secure portal.

The condo was a great place. Close to the lifts at blackcomb(ski in/ski out). The hot tub is a great way to relax after a day on the mountain. The village shuttle stops right out front making getting into the village a breeze. The management company is attentive and responsive. A great stay!

My friend and I had a wonderful stay in Whistler and truly appreciated this home. It was clean, cozy, and well-maintained—perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to the village, nearby attractions, and slopes, making the trip seamless and stress-free. Great stay! Whistler has such a great village to explore. Walkable to blackcomb gondola area where a few restaurants/shops are, or an easy bus to the other village areas that runs late into the night. Only positive things to share about the condo. You'll certainly remember the entry code by the time you're leaving. Great communication from hosts also.

We loves our stay in Whistler and it was a pleasure working with Christine, who was super responsive thoughtout the trip. This was as close to ski-in, ski-out as possible without being directly next to the mountain as there was a short trail that you could either walk or ski that would get you there in less than a few mins. If there was one complaint and a minor one, the internet was slow and caused a delay with the television throughout the trip, but that was only when there was down time, as we spent most of the trip on the mountain or in town. It was a fantastic experience and would highly recommend for anyone who is looking to stay close to town and the mountain. Thank you Christine!

Nice suite & hot tub however it's best for a couple - not a family of 4. There isn't a dining table so we missed that extra space. Please be aware: the parking garage has a height limitation of 6 feet, those with a Thule' over an SUV will be overheight! There is limited overheight spots available and we lucked out otherwise we don't know where we would have parked. I'm not sure if this is mentioned in the VRBO listing but it really should be. The free shuttle stops right out front so that was convenient.

Place was great!

Very close to The bus stop that will take you all over Whistler and Walking distance to the lower Blackcomb village. Ski locker was convenient . The condo itself perfect for the two of us. Could maybe add a third person but y’all better be close friends! Would for sure stay here again.

Winter wonderland

We had a lovely weekend away from the city. This property is conveniently located on the #5 bus route which is free and useful for the ride back up the hill. This property is only a few minutes from the upper village which made the walk down for meals, shopping and fresh air very easy. Great spacious suite for one or two ppl. The suite is also nicely furnished with ample hangers, closet and dresser drawers. Thanks you!
