Weekend getaway

We stayed at Split Creek for our annual getaway between Christmas and NYE. Property was quiet, our cabin was tucked in the back along the creek. Peaceful and cute. Good location with Stroudsburg 20 mins away and Camelback 25. Property owners Ross and Valerie were waiting for us to check us in, very friendly and thorough walk through on everything. Overall was a great experience, would recommend.

Excellent property

The cottage was immaculate and modern. Well equipped with just about everything that you would need. No need to bring towels or linens and the ones provided were great quality. Kitchen was stocked with basic essentials. Owners were very nice and communicative. I will definitely be returning when the weather gets warmer, to enjoy the grounds. They were not kidding, it was like walking into someone else's home. It felt like we were in a place that we would own and maintain in the same fashion.

simply perfect

We (extended family of about 27, (including 5 little ones) stayed at all 7 cottages and the Church house for a weeklong family gathering post our son's wedding in Phila. Every single thing about the accommodations, location, hosts, setting was perfect. each family had the space they needed and we also were able to gather for family meals on the porch of the big house in the evening. Folks were well occupied fishing, lounging, and hiking while we also had plenty of relaxed time to simply connect amidst the calming and sweet landscape. Val and Ross were extremely responsive and attentive hosts and shared stories that gave the place a sense of meaning. Now, with the next generation growing into young families, it was the ideal way to holiday together without being in one another's way. Can't say enough about the thought and care that went into every element of the resort, bravo...well done!

Split Creek Preserve & Resort "Lincoln Lodge" 10/20/22-10/23/22

Split Creek Preserve & Resort is an absolutely spectacular place to stay! I found this place by chance when looking for places to stay in PA that were close to the vineyards that we planned to visit for our anniversary weekend. Our hosts, Ross & Valerie were incredible! They couldn't have been more welcoming, attentive or helpful. We enjoyed every conversation we had with them! They both took the time to explain how things worked in out beautiful cottage. The attention to detail in how this cottage was built & decorated was perfection right down to the flowers on the front stoop. It has to be one of the cleanest resorts that we have ever stayed in, our place was immaculate. The property that this resort is built on is breathtaking boasting babbling brooks & streams that run through it...not to mention the several ponds up front on the property home to some adorable little ducks, koi & some very large bass that all live together in harmony. If you like to hike, there are some beautiful trails to venture out on. We are looking forward to our next stay at this little piece of heaven on earth! Thank you Ross & Valerie for a wonderful getaway! We will see you soon!

We absolutely loved this cottage!

Thanks to Ross and Valerie for a fantastic stay. This cottage has everything you could possibly want and more. The fireplace was awesome and perfect relaxing outside and making s’mores. Our kids had a great time at the lake and loved the ducks and paddle boats. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway in a beautiful location!

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

As a surprise for my birthday, my partner reserved this lovely cabin for a weekend getaway. The owner, Ross, met us in the driveway to lead us back to the cabin. Immediately, I was taken by the beauty of the stream just in front of the cabin. Inside, we felt very welcomed by the fireplace and comfy furnishings. Everything was very clean and bright. We didn't cook any major meals in the kitchen but we had everything we needed to make a delicious breakfast each morning. Ross provided great suggestions for dining and entertainment options. We decided to drive up to Hawk Falls for a quick hike to see the Falls and take in the lovely scenery. Just beautiful! I wish we had the chance to use the outdoor fireplace but it was a windy, cold night so staying inside by the fire seemed like the best option. Next time!
