Ferme de clôture blanche sur 105 acres magnifiques - calme, rustique, confortable et amusant!

Situé dans les collines du Tennessee, juste après la ligne d'état NC et à 20 minutes en voiture du centre-ville de Boone, se trouve l'une des plus belles fermes de la région. Cette ferme de style années 1940 est simple et rustique, invitant les clients à se détendre et à apprécier les merveilles de la nature. Complète avec une baignoire en fer sur pattes, une balançoire de véranda et un poêle à bois Vermont, la maison contient de nombreuses fonctionnalités qui reflètent son charme douillet. Une source bouillonnante, des grenouilles gazouillantes, un étang à poissons, des champs de vaches, des sentiers de randonnée personnels et de délicieuses fleurs sauvages entourent la propriété. À quelques pas se trouve une grande grange où les invités peuvent se divertir, avec un bar et une scène pour ceux qui souhaitent inviter du divertissement ou organiser leur propre spectacle.

Cette propriété peut également servir de merveilleuse retraite de camping, ou une escapade pour quelqu'un qui cherche la paix et la tranquillité pour méditer, écrire, créer etc. Nous avons également un raccordement RV. Des forfaits mariage sont également disponibles. Veuillez appeler pour vous renseigner sur la disponibilité des mariages et des événements!

Le parcours de golf de Red Tail est à seulement 5 minutes, un certain nombre de magasins d'antiquités sont disséminés dans la région et de nombreuses activités touristiques et attractions sont disponibles dans les environs. Boone, en Caroline du Nord, se trouve à quelques minutes de route de la ferme et abrite l'Université des Appalaches. Le campus propose de nombreuses activités culturelles, sportives et éducatives. Le centre-ville de Boone est une petite ville animée avec de bons restaurants et des boutiques pittoresques. Grandfather Mountain est à seulement 30 minutes avec les villes de Banner Elk et Foscoe, avec de nombreuses possibilités de ski et de pratiquer d'autres sports d'hiver. N'oubliez pas de jeter un œil à la Blue Ridge Parkway, qui offre une vue sans fin, de beaux points de vue et des sentiers de randonnée!

Quick family trip

My family and I stayed her for a quick weekend trip to Boone. The home was a fantastic hidden gem. The setting is gorgeous and an easy drive to King Street. Communication was a breeze! We will definitely book again next time we are in the High Country!

Special Getaway in a Peaceful Setting

We very much enjoyed White Fence Farm. Our stay was comfortable, relaxing and rejuvenating. The surrounding hills hosted a few cows while we were there -- it was delightful for us town folk to hear them occasionally while sitting on the front porch -- so we didn't go walking up into the hills, but the grounds are lovely and fun to explore. The pond, the barn, and the blooming wildflowers were particularly photogenic. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect Tranquility

My family and I stayed at the Trade, Tennessee property right before Thanksgiving. It was a completely lovely experience. The house is absolutely beautiful and tidy, and the acreage around it is spectacular! My teenage son loved it so much, he asked to stay again next year. We've already recommended it to other family who frequent the Boone, NC area. If you want to stay in a little piece of paradise, this is the place for you!

Peaceful and quiet

Property was very quiet, private and peaceful. Everything was clean and was promised. Everything was perfect! The host was also very accommodating and allowed us to check in early. Even the toilet paper was nice. I don't know why every other VRBO I've ever stayed at supplied the cheapest and most terrible toilet paper made!

The most relaxing visit

This property is AMAZING. We had so much fun exploring the property and watching the cows graze. At night we made s’mores in the fire pit and watched the fireflies light up the sky. It was absolutely perfect. The breeze we had every afternoon made for a lovely swing on the front porch while our son was playing with his toys on the lawn. Great antique store down the driveway loaded with goodies. We already booked for next year!

Home to the hills

My husband and I were able to arrange a much needed last minute 4 day rental at White Fence Farm and found everything we'd hoped for- quiet, solitude, a lovely true to itself 80 year old farm and homestead, a wide front porch with a steady light breeze, hills to climb, song birds, an amazing white nosed squirrel, turkeys, many old farm implements- the list goes on. But above all, quiet and time and space to regroup and get grounded. White Fence is an easy. comfy chairs place to be.

Definitely worth the drive

We really enjoyed the two nights we spent here. Extremely quiet. Not even a bug can be heard, super peaceful. The only negative point was the fact that the bed, doors and the heater are very noisy, besides that, we enjoyed our time here. There are plenty of antique decorations. We brought our dogs, and they had a blast with all that space to run and stuff to sniff. We did have a problem with the shower hot water, but we reached out to the host and helped us out with that. Bottom line, we enjoyed the place, and the price paid was reasonable.

Beauty and Relaxation.

A charming turn of the century farmhouse filled with interesting antiques of it's time. Our children 8 and 3 enjoyed exploring all the items in the house and around the property. They especially liked the stereoscope with the old image photographs. We spent hours lazying around the wood burning stove, playing board games, hiking around the property and exploring the barn and fields. The beds were comfy, linens soft, kitchen ample enough for the creative chef. We dined in almost every night and I enjoyed cooking meals in the rustic kitchen looking out up the valley, thinking of all the people who preceded my tasks since 1880 when the farmhouse was built. Such a magical place. We will be back!

Our Own Private Farm for a Week

My husband and I had a great week here with our dogs. The farm sits in a bowl surrounded by mountains and covered with trees and cow pastures. It is very private. We saw some great wildlife, including a family of turkeys, some groundhogs, and tons of fireflies in the evenings. The house was clean and comfortable, furnished with antiques that make it a very authentic old farm house experience. The front porch is wonderful with comfortable furniture and lots of birds to watch. We had the cows visit right in front of the house a couple of mornings, and they were adorable. The property was about 20 minutes drive from downtown Boone, but it's a straight shot on the highway right into town. This was the best mountain house that we have rented so far since we started making yearly trips in 2017.

Beautiful property

The house at White Fence Farm is incredibly charming! The entire house is furnished with a really beautiful collection of curated antiques. It's an old house (1930s?), so a bit drafty, but there are plenty of heaters and the Vermont wood stove warms the entire living & dining areas. The actual farm is a beautiful property with hills, trails, and places to hang around a bonfire. Lots of room for kids and dogs to run around. It snowed during our visit and the kids spent a lot of time sledding. I removed a star because we were unable to use the kitchen. There was an issue with dead mice under the cabinets. The owner and maintenance were quick to respond and did everything they could to address the situation while we were staying. We understand that is the nature of a farmhouse, and luckily we were able to cook all meals on the grill or fire outside.

Could be incredible, with a little care & cleaning

We love this property and have stayed here twice. However, our last stay winter 2016/17 was really disappointing. The house was filthy, we actually spent one entire day cleaning (we went out and bought cleaning supplies) before our extended families came in. Really disappointed at the state of disrepair and especially dirtiness. The charm of this place is that it's a really rustic farmhouse with no frills (no phone, central heat, cable, ac) tucked between mountain ridges into it's own little hollow. Basically you go back in time - super cool and really relaxing - on an incredible piece of land, >100 acres! However while our first visit was a little lacking on cleanliness, our last visit was truly bad. The windows were literally filled with dead and dying flies (piles of them in every window), really dirty bathroom with 3 towels for a party of 7, dirty kitchen with no towels and mouse traps with dead mice in them under the beds and furniture. We actually had a family member bring up a vacuum (the onsite old Roomba Robot vacuum didn't cut it) and mopped the floors several times before the water stopped turning black, not to mention wiping everything down and rewashing all the dishes and entire kitchen. Bedrooms and sheets were questionable at best and blankets were definitely not washed in a very long time. I hate to write this because this is a super cool place with incredible potential, but it's truly a shame when the owners have let it get so very dirty. We were embarrassed since we had brought in out of town guests and even our young children commented about how dirty it was on this visit. Really wish the owners would clean it up and keep it in better care - rustic simplicity of an old imperfect farmhouse IS perfect but basic cleanliness for a rental is an utmost necessity and expected. Not sure we'll be back for some time...

A Unique Stay

So let me premise this by saying what an amazing property this is and how perfect it would be for a fair weather event with a lot of people. The barn has some serious hosting capabilities and the surrounding geography is fantastic. That said, we were looking for lodging to cover the Thanksgiving weekend, and given the weather, definitely didn't get to experience the space that way. The home itself is very bare bones rustic. Heat is minimal, the beds are not great, you have a college fridge, and there's limited gathering space. You're staying in a home that was built well over 100 years ago from my telling, so you need to be ready for that. So I wouldn't recommend it for what we used it for, but if you have grander ideas in warmer seasons, this place would be fantastic.
