We’re also happy our Crew was responsive throughout your stay. As a budget-friendly beach home, the property is intentionally priced with its amenities, location, and overall offering in mind. We do appreciate the notes regarding the bathroom and bedroom cooling and will certainly keep those items on our radar. We’d also like to clarify the checkout portion of the review. Our standard checkout time is communicated prior to arrival, and the additional $60 was for the extended time you chose to remain at the property beyond that checkout time. We were happy to accommodate the request, especially given the rainy weather, but extended stays do require additional time for our housekeeping and operations schedule and therefore are not complimentary based simply on whether another guest is arriving that day. We’re glad we could make the rainy departure a little easier and appreciate you choosing to stay with us!

As for the yard and mosquitoes, the heavy rains have not made it easy on either front. The mowers tear up the water saturated yards and the mosquitoes do love that rain (we definitely don't invite them to the party). Hopefully things will dry up soon here and can tackle both of those. Thank you for allowing us to host you Jamie. We apologize for the crossed wires on the AC communication. Our staff was not aware it was still having an issue. Gratefully, it is all fixed and cool at this point. While we did move you to a bigger house with more bedrooms and bathrooms, thinking this would be a value, we were not aware the fenced yard was an important factor.

Thank you for the 5-stars and glad everything worked out so perfectly and comfortably for you and the pup! As for the lawn and mosquitoes, unfortunately both get "overgrown" after the heavy rains after a very dry summer. We appreciate you staying with us!

This review actually does not go with this home, so it is unfortunate that it being posted here, as this is an adorably cute and clean home That said, the home we moved you to as quickly and professionally as we could, respectfully, we're not sure how there possibly could have been these issues you named. While we're truly sorry to hear to these items, we're confused because you reached out to us and liked it so much you chose to extend your stay?

Thank you for the 5-stars and so glad you found the cottage to be clean, comfortable and quiet - all perfect for relaxing at the coast! We do have our fair share of creatures on the island. And yes, glad your dog didn't find it first. Typically we have a hand soap pump or two in each bathroom, perhaps it got accidentally thrown away, sorry about that. As for checking the home, our field manager always checks each home before a guest's arrival, and in fact, checked the home you stayed in at 10:49am on the day of your arrival.
