We loved our stay at Drake’s Landing and hope to come back again. The lake is beautiful, and the amenities were wonderful. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, with a nice decor.

Beautiful cottage with all the amenities of home. Location was lovely, quiet and pleasant. Water is shallow and lots of reeds so swimming for some was not put off. The water sport options were well provided for!We would definitely recommend this site and would come again!

We had a quick stay at Drake's Landing, just one night. We enjoyed the views and the cottage was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need during your stay and it was very clean.

Beautiful cottage and property

Great for a family. Well stocked kitchen and tons of outdoor toys and games etc. Great deck area to eat outside and chairs and enjoy the view of the water. Great to have use of kayaks and paddle boards and fire pit.

Drake’s Landing offered something for everyone!!

I had the best time watching my girls tackle and master the SUP, kayak and make memories with their cousins and best friends. Wish we stayed longer.

The cottage was as expected It was really nice and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The one thing that was a bit awkward is having to take the garbage home with us. Not having a place to put it on the property was a small inconvenience. But between the 5 of us we took it all out.

Our group of two couples stayed for 7 days and we had a fantastic time. The cottage was easy to get to and the check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The cottage was as described and pictured. The decor was lovely and very “cottage”, which we loved; clearly a lot of thought went into the decorating choices. The location was peaceful and private with little noise and few boats on the lake. The water views were beautiful. We enjoyed water sports (kayak, own canoe; with more available) and many outdoor games. There were lots of indoor activities that we did not even get to. The kitchen was well set up with good quality and condition appliances and equipment, and lots of dishes. It had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and cozy. WIFI was excellent. One thing to be aware of: we had poor to non-existent cellular phone coverage (Bell) at times so an FYI. We could not think of any improvement to recommend to our hosts. We had a wonderful stay. We would not hesitate to return or to recommend to others.

Everything. Cottage was lovely, it was decorated for Christmas very charming. They had skating rink on lake and my gradkids loved it. It was well stocked and very clean.Thank you so much. Looking forward to our summer holiday with grangkids here.

This was truly a beautiful well maintained and updated modern property. My boyfriend and I and our two dogs were able to sit back and relax and enjoy our first get away together. I loved the animal themed rooms! Especially the bear one. Everything you could think of was provided and Eric was very prompt with communicating with us. Our girls appreciated the dog toys and loved the fresh air. I appreciated the games available and being able to watch a movie and have a hot shower in a beautiful bathroom after a campfire.It was easy to get to North Bay and Mattawa to visit with friends and get supplies. The view of the Lake was stunning and neighbors were very polite and quiet.

Great spot

Cottage was excellent, anything you need was there. Great not having to make beds when you arrive. Great communication with the owners. Very clean. Lots of room for the kids to play.

Relaxing Family Time

Wonderful time soent with family. Property was just perfect for us - great views of the lake , cozy rooms and far from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. The owner was quick to respond to my queries and asks. Everythijg was perfect .

Fantastic experience for a group of friends for a get together, very timely and accurate communications from the owner. Very clean, updated and homely property with lots of outdoor space and a great spacious kitchen! Would definitely return!

Great family getaway

It was a very great time. I visited the Drake's landing with my mom and 2 kids. It was a quite and peaceful place. And the place was so beautiful in the morning, afternoon and even at night. We had so much fun there. My little girl cried when we left and we will visit here again near future. :)

Canada Day stay

Cottage very clean, thoughtfully appointed with many activities to entertain any age group. Was great to see teenage kids playing ladder ball. Thanks to the cottage goer who did the Canada Day fireworks. Only thing we missed was bringing a motor for the boat. Fishing on Lake Wasi ended up being a work out :)!

Summer getaway

Drake's Landing was amazing. Very clean and cozy. We especially loved all the water activities that were available. The kayaks and paddleboards were in perfect conditon and available in different sizes. The lake view was simply beautiful. Even on the rainy days we had fun with all the boardgames that were provided. Drake's Landing had everything we needed and more. My family and I had a wonderful time.

Perfect Cottage!

I rarely go out of my way to leave a bad or good review but holy crap, this cottage was just gorgeous. Pictures don't give it justice. Beyond comfy cozy cottage feel with modern amenities. Brought our 2 dogs, very pet friendly!! Joanne, our host, was extremally accommodatable and helpful with any questions I had. Will definitely be inquiring about staying again! - Phil

The property was very clean, well stocked and oh what a view!!. The check-in and check-out were super easy to follow. Her instructions were very clear. Couldn't have found a better place

A lot of time searching for a place that all of us agreed on. Pictures are exactly how it is. Great location fantastic lake and all of the extras made it even better. Very comfortable no need to bring any extra dishes, bedding or utensils. In fact they even had a good size dog crate for or dogs . Pre cut bagged firewood for a small fee was well worth it. Thank you Eric an Joanne for allowing us to rent your beautiful cottage. We plan to be back
