Close to beach and pet friendly

This location had everything we needed. Plenty of room to sleep. Huge living room and kitchen area. Comfortable backyard and a short walk to the beach.

Great Place for Birthday Celebration

This is our second year staying at this home to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday. She was able to enjoy the beach, boardwalk, and making smores in the backyard with her friends!Regina our host was very receptive and helpful again. We will stay again.

Keansburg Stay

The house was clean and comfortable, the pictures were very accurate representation. The parking situation was the only downside, all parking is on the road as described in the listing, each day the road would be full of cars making it difficult to find a spot.

This property is awesome!

Stayed here with my fiancé and our dog. The house is beautiful and very nice. The owner is extremely sweet. She was very accommodating and helpful as well! Not to mention the property is in a nice location. The location is walking distance from the beach and a great restaurant is around the corner. If we come back to New Jersey I would definitely try and get this location again! Thanks again for everything!

Nice House near the beach

I stayed at this property with a few friends (we were all in town to see a show at PNC). The house itself feels recently renovated - its nice inside, with comfy beds, well set up kitchen etc. Check in was easy and they even got the place ready quickly so we could check in early. The beach is a few min walk away as described in the listing. The only caveat is that the neighborhood itself is rundown - this is not a resort town like you would find further down the shore.

Great home for family

My granddaughter wanted to celebrate her 15th birthday at the beach. This home provided a wonderful site as well as comfort. The home is just as stated on the site. It was very comfortable and provided all the comforts of home. The beach was a short walking distance from the home. Regina, our hostess, was very responsive and accessible. She was a pleasure to work with. My family enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Quick trip, unfortunate weather

The house was clean and there were many extras (towels, linens, etc). I was just happy to be able to bring the dogs with us! There isn't much grass in the yard or on the street, but there's a large library lot with grass! Unfortunately it rained and flooded while we were there. Luckily I drive an SUV so I didn't have to worry much, but the yard/street did flood quite a bit! Overall I'd stay again.

Almost Oceanfront!

My group and myself had a nice stay at this property! The house was just as listed. I would recommend bringing extra paper towels, cleaning supplies and even sheets as there was only the base sheet with a comforter on the beds. The property was very close to the ocean and you can see the beautiful NYC skyline from the beach. The beach was clean with soft sand and smooth waves. This property is dog friendly but unfortunately there is no grass or area for the dogs to use in the back of the house, we had to walk to the end of the road to use the bathroom which can be a bit of a hassle at night or early mornings. I would recommend this property for a simple beach vacation.

Very bad area, did not feel safe.

Windows unit air conditioners not working properly, overpriced for the quality you get. Everything looks very cheap and depressing . Would not recommend.

Just as listed

The property was just as listed. You have to go a couple blocks over for beach access, but no big deal. The property was clean. I would recommend being your own body wash and the like including a face cloth. Check in was smooth and easy. Parking was a breeze. I would recommend to the owner to but more beds in the bigger room. Great size but just a queen bed. If people are not close they may not want to sleep next to another person. Getting online was easy and it worked well. Kitchen materials were readily available. I would go back.

The house itself was very nice and exactly what my friends and I had expected going into it. However, we found a mouse in the master bedroom, and the very first floor where the living room and kitchen were had roaches. On a separate note, Keansburg is located on the bay side, not the ocean side. I feel as though that wasn't properly communicated as everything indicates "beach". Partially my fault for not researching that further but the "beach" truthfully was not that nice and the water was very dirty. Overall, would not recommend and would not go back myself.

Just a short stay!

Overall, we did enjoy our short time here. Positives: We could easily walk to beach and restaurants - all within a 10-minute walk. This was a meeting point picking up our daughter from NYC and that worked out nicely. It was over 100 degrees and the AC was appreciated! The night view of NYC from the beach was very cool! We booked here because they allow dogs! Thank you! Negatives: The neighborhood is a bit sketchy - trash in the streets, overgrown weeds. We debated whether the area is deteriorating or up-and-coming (we hope the latter!). Keansburg beach (no dogs) was full of crabs and jellyfish, dead or dying, so we passed on swimming there. You should know you cannot see the water from the house - the quickest access is to use the next street over - it has a path to the beach. Again, it served our purposes and we enjoyed our stay.
