Enjoy a island getaway with your own cottage to stay in and a beach front property. We provide a Newfoundland dory ride to your destination on the island. A traditional built, York harbour dory.
Where you arrive safely to enjoy your stay. Enjoy a beach fire on the beach or enjoy the side yard fire pit. Enjoy the waves as you rest in your cottage, for the area is peaceful. Or on your private deck as you have your morning tea, coffee or favorite beverage. Spend your morning fishing cod on the weekends Saturday until Monday cod jigging. We have a local store accessible from beach once I take you across on dory if need be. The stars and mountains are spectacular with no city lights the star gazer may enjoy the beauty of the cosmos. Usally a Canadian loon upon harbour waters and bald eagles in the area. We can do site seeing to other island for additional cost. Our goal is for you to have a pleasant and good memories of Newfoundland. Please try to be punctual for this is the harbour ocean. 12 pm bookings and departure.

Hi, there my name is Larry and Iâm your host. I have lived here now in York Harbour Newfoundland for 10 years now. I enjoy outdoor adventures like cod fishing, hiking, mountaineering, cottage life around the fire pit.
I was an operating Engineer for 17 years and spent 3:years time in the military for the DND Canada.

Voici pourquoi lâhĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement
My area has many mountains around our town valley and many hiking trails in the area to enjoy. Community has a good store for many daily needs. Trout fishing is good and the hunting for moose is the best. Our community has ports for fishermen and we have a Canadian coast guard in our community area. Canadian provincial park for campers.
Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique
Our property is an island location with a good 2 bedroom cabin on your private island destination. With many amenities, like outdoor fire pit, a BBQ on your deck. Private beach location and the stars are most glorious in the summer months. The skyâs are worth the view and the waves make everything seem comfortable and relaxing. With many bird species to se e and enjoy and a Canadian loon to make everything seem blessed. We provide fishing from Saturday until Monday with a 5 fish limit or 15 per boat of three. When you rent the cottage for a weekend we shall provide 1 day fishing trip weather permitting. Transportation is provided in a traditional Newfoundland 19 foot dory, with a 40 Yamaha outboard.
