The place was clean and comfortably, the host was excellent to communicate with, prompt responses to our questions. Both the inside and outside was appealing and tidy. In the shower and tub areas we found the floor tiles to be slippery and no floor mats to step on to, there were no paper towels, there were no signs pointing how to get to the address from the main road just pass the causeway, and the house number was on the garbage bin which was difficult to see due to back from the road, especially at night. This is not meant to be negative of the property in any way because we would rent this property again without hesitation, it is meant to encourage small tweaks to improve the stay of future renters. WE HAD GREAT STAY!

Great spot . Enjoyed our stay! Had everything you would need available. Only thing I would suggest that the check out should be 10:30 or 11. Give people time to pack up and straighten away.

Annual weekend getaway spot

Lovely, well-equipped house to spend time with a group of friends. Would highly recommend this home and location. As four couples who wanted to share a space "all under one roof" for an annual getaway, this house was ideal. Sheree was easily reached and responded to any questions without hesitation.

2 night stay

We were a group of 5 looking for a central location that was 2.5 hours away in all directions to tourist locations that we planned on seeing. We were so happy with the cleanliness, the spacious rooms, 3 full bathrooms, comfortable beds. We had friendly and helpful communication with the VBRO contact. We would recommend the location.

Wonderful cottage. Well appointed. Would suggest the bbq be replaced as burners need replacing. Otherwise a home away from home. Thank you!

Family get away

Enjoyed our stay at the Sprucewood cottage in Port Blandford. Cottage is nicely situated which was perfect for golf access at Terra Nova and day trips to neighbouring towns in close proximity to that location. Cottage is clean and comfortable and very well appointed, although I would recommend the owner have a selection of plastic glassware for outside use. Our group enjoyed the local swimming hole as well which is just a short distance from the cabin. Great spot for a little getaway!

From the West to the East

My family gathered to NF from BC, AB. My son lives in St Johns and my grandkids. 8 of us enjoyed the awesome home as we returned every evening after day trips around the area. Every room was super in comfort, the kitchen totally equipped. 5 star everything. Highly recommended.
