This home is located in the desirable Benchlands in the Upper Village, a few minutes to either Mountain and a 5 minute walk to beautiful Lost Lake.

Modern Mountain Retreat is in the sought-after Woods complex, which has lush landscaping and beautiful mature trees. The ideal location for all four seasons where nature and all of Whistler's amenities, attractions and world-renowned skiing are at your doorstep.

Two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, high-end stainless steel appliances, stylish furnishings from a local Whistler boutique, new oak floors, 9-foot ceilings throughout, heated bathroom floors and jacuzzi tub, fully equipped kitchen, deck with gas BBQ, wood burning fireplace, bright end-unit with windows on 3 sides, bike/ski storage, free parking and communal hot tub.

This suite is 1050 sq feet, comfortably accommodating 6 guests. The master bedroom has a king bed with a Fairmont Luxury Pillowtop Mattress, flat screen TV and ensuite shower/jacuzzi tub combo with heated floors. The second bedroom has a queen bed, plus twin bunk beds - perfect for families. The second bathroom with a double shower and heated floors is directly across from this bedroom. Pack 'n play available. All linens and towels are laundered in scent free and dye free detergent.

The living room is bright and airy with stylish furniture. The many windows flood the unit with natural light in the afternoon while you enjoy a pleasant cross-breeze. Lots of comfortable seating, including a sectional sofa and large window bench. Listen to your favourite music on the Bluetooth speaker while sipping hot chocolate in front of the wood burning fireplace. A 55-inch flat screen TV is mounted above the fireplace.

The living room opens to a dining room with comfortable seating for 6, perfect for dinner parties or family meals. It is also a great spot to work from if needed. Internet is high speed and capable of servicing various devices at a time.

The kitchen has brand new, high-end stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar with seating.

Suite access is ground level with NO stairs. There is a large entryway with soaring ceilings perfect for skis and also has ample hooks for all your jackets. You will find a boot warmer in the entranceway which is also great for ski gloves to ensure you are dry and toasty on the hill the next day.

Grill your favourite food year-round on the fully covered patio. On warmer days and nights. enjoy a coffee or glass of wine outside, overlooking the serene forest.

FREE designated parking spot is directly outside the unit, plus several visitor spots available on a first-come basis.

An amazing all-season location, beside the Chateau Whistler golf course and 5 min walk to Lost Lake, which has a sandy beach, grassy area for picnics and calm waters for swimming. This unit is directly on the Valley Trail network, perfect for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, running, biking and trail walks. The trail takes you directly to the lifts for mountain biking. You can walk to the Upper Village (7 mins) and Whistler Village (20 mins) or the free shuttle right outside the complex will take you right there. Whistler’s best lounges - the Four Seasons Hotel and Chateau Fairmont Whistler are only a 10-minute walk away. Both offer fantastic hand-crafted cocktails, tasty bites and live music.

SKI ACCESS
SKI-IN from Blackcomb Mountain to the suite using the “Ski Home Trail”, which exits across the street from the complex. The base of Blackcomb is a 10-15 min walk or use the FREE shuttle directly outside the complex (1 minute walk from your front door) which will take you to either Whistler Mountain or Blackcomb Mountain in minutes. The shuttle runs frequently (10-15 mins). Note, essentially all ski-in trails in Whistler are weather dependent. Please check weather reports and road maps for current conditions. Regardless, the free shuttle provides easy and fast access to and from either hill.

Holiday Visit

Modern Mountain Home is always beautiful, welcoming and comfortable. The owners make check-in and check-out very easy. This was our second time renting the home over the holidays. We would be happy to rent it again next year, if it is available.

Great stay at Whistler

We had a great time during our recent ski trip. We’re a family of four and this condo was perfect for us. We had plenty of space. The condo is clean and the location is fantastic. The free shuttle stops right outside - just a 2 min walk in ski boots. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

Dana’s home was beautiful and in the perfect location, just a short ride to the slopes! The house had everything you needed during your stay and was very clean! The hot tub was an added bonus which my boys loved! Perfect place to stay with your family on a ski vacation to beautiful Whistler! You will love it!

Wonderful holiday stay

We have a large family and we needed another home to house some of our family over the Christmas holiday week. The condo was perfect!! Excellent location and newly updated. Immaculately clean. The owner was delightful to communicate with and access to the home was easy. We would definitely rent this home again.

Great place to call hike for a week!

We loved our stay at Dana‘s condo! The place was very cutely decorated, had everything that we needed, and was perfectly comfortable for our family of four. The shuttle is literally right in front of the complex which made getting to and from the mountain super easy every day. I highly recommend this place. Dana was very communicative and always quick to respond. Great spot!

Great condo, great location!

We really enjoyed our stay and all that Whistler had to offer. Dana, the owner, was very communicative and responsive. The condo was very clean and in a great location. We would definitely rent it again! The only items to be aware of is that the 2nd bedroom doesn’t have a closet or dresser if you like to unpack; and there weren’t any hair dryers so be sure to bring your own.

The Woods

What a fantastic experience! Location was perfect - literally steps from the No.5 bus that takes you to Blackcomb/Whistler bases in minutes. Also easy walk to village. The property was very clean, quiet and very well equipped. Plenty of space for 4 adults for a week. Parking for 2 cars. Very comfortable living area with wood fire. The host was very helpful before, during and after our visit - I would highly recommend this property. I hope to visit again soon!

Cozy Condo

I had a wonderful stay here with my daughter. I loved looking out at the pines from the family room windows. The neighborhood is a short walk away from Lost Lake so we enjoyed walking there every day. It is a bit of a walk into the Village but we rented e-bikes and that made it a fun and perfect activity to ride everywhere. There is an amazing network of bike trails that take you to the Village and all over. It was fun to pop over to the Village but to come back to something very cozy and quiet.

Fabulous single floor unit at the Woods

Great location at the Woods complex. Seems recently remodeled (compared to other places we have rented here) and really nicely kept and stocked. Loved that the unit is single floor which helps with tired ski legs (other units we have rented at the woods were 2 floors). Second bedroom has queen bed and bunk beds which was perfect for our 3 teenage sons. Most if not all Light fixtures have dimmers which was nice in the evenings. Fireplace is wood burning and there is plenty of chopped wood. Hosts are extremely responsive and helpful. Loved our stay: hard to beat having the shuttle stop right there for a ski vacation.

The space looks onto a serene forest. Ground level entry but due to slope of the property, your balcony is elevated. We fell in love with the unit because it floods natural sunlight and has a true luxury cabin feel.
