Very nice floor plan. 6 large bedrooms with private bathrooms. Very spacious and well designed. However, three of the four bedrooms were not cooling due to problems with two of the four HVAC units. We had to sleep on the couches because it was too uncomfortable in the bedrooms. One ceiling fan was not working.

Great BUT hot

My ONLY complaint about this house was the thermostat in the house. One side of the house was cold, while the other was hot. We read that the thermostat for the downstairs bedroom was actually upstairs and we lowered it, but it was very hot and stuffy at night.The place was amazing. Easy check-in with keypad. Quiet and secluded ranch-looking place. We had a great time with friends and family. Each couple had their own bathroom in their room, plus 2 additional 1/2 baths in the hallway. Porch was wonderful and we spent a lot of the time sitting outside enjoying the weather. We also did a lot of cooking and thoroughly enjoyed the commercial-looking kitchen. At one point, there were 5 of us in the kitchen and we had plenty of room.We would definitely stay here again and will tell more friends about it.

Scorpions in the Trailer Park

The evening we arrived the house was hot, air conditioners off. I was able to find a thermostat for part of the house but one side was dead, called the contact and it turns out the thermostat for the downstairs bedroom was upstairs in a meeting room. I turned it on and it never stopped. I would guess the temp at 50 the next morning. There were scorpions in the house, not cool with young kids and a toddler. The “ranch” is an over grown commercial feeling facility in the middle of a trailer park. Can’t make this stuff up. Internet went out on the last day, I called contract did not get a call back or resolution. Messed up movie night for sure. Water did not work in some sinks and no dishwasher. Could be good but I think it’s too far gone.

Great for our Team!

Our work team had a conference in San Antonio and the Ranch (as we fondly called it) allowed each member to have their own room and bathroom. Several enjoyed the private patio on their room as well as the big rockers on the porch. The bed was amazing! Each room had an individual name and was marked on the door; this is a nice touch and also made it easy to know who was staying in what room! There were several nice touches such as personal Keurigs, makeup clothes, and q-tips that show the host wants to provide a great experience for their guests.The meeting areas allowed us to gather and spend time together discussing our training as well as getting to know each other! *Note: the 2nd kitchen also has a couch and chair and is part of a bedroom "suite". The bedroom has a door for privacy and the suite also has a door for privacy. This didn't bother us, just pointing it out as informational for other. It is in the country but we didn't experience any scorpions or other country life. We were not automatically sent the videos to aide in check-in and driving instructions but they were sent after checking with the host. She was very gracious and so nice and helpful! Everyone has different perceptions; I took a chance on this space after reading the 2 star review and am very happy with the booking! If you have a family or large group for business, I think this space provides opportunities to spend time together as well as private spaces for when you need downtime from a large group.
