Very enjoyable stay for our group at the FireFly Resort. Mike was very accommodating and available to our needs, but also kept away and left us to our own devices. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, very happy.

Our small family loved FireFly! Mike was great, Max the pup adorable and the house and property perfect for our get-together. Heaps and heaps of space, cosy and comfortable beds and living areas and oh so quiet. The cottage was a bonus.Our sincerest thanks again Mike and we’re now “duck egg” converts - delicious!

We stayed here recently with my elderly parents and siblings and their families. We were able to spread put across the cottage and the house. Lots of space for kids to roam and with teenagers they spent the weekend playing tennis, pool, darts, cricket and swimming in the pool. We bought our dog as well so it was nice that we could all enjoy the break. Whilst the house and property are looking a little tired it does mean you can feel comfortable with smaller kids at the house as well. And our host Mike was so helpful with check in and letting the kids feed the ducks and collect eggs as well so it really added to the experience. For a large place that is quite reasonable in price it has a lot to offer when looking for a more relaxed laid back vibe.

The property was exactly what we wanted for our stay. Perfect place to stay to have some quiet time or socialising if that’s what you’re looking for. Plenty of room to have time to yourself and yet great areas to bring everyone together.Mike was a great host adding to a wonderful stay.

We had an amazing weekend stay! With 12 adults and 8 kids, the place never felt crowded and had plenty of space for everyone to relax. The kitchen was fantastic and well-equipped, making group meals easy. The pool was a highlight, and the kids especially loved feeding the fish and ducks. Mike and Christine were wonderful hosts - friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. The style of both the house and the cottage are beautiful and Mike was a great host.We especially loved the pool and bbq area and really enjoyed the rural setting in general. The area itself is also stunning. We loved it all, from the beaches and golf courses in Forster/Tuncurry to the chicken schnitzels in the Krambach pub. Great area and wonderful accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The large spaces and well-maintained pool were a great feature, and the children particularly enjoyed watching the ducks. Mike was very friendly and accommodating to the children’s interests, even organising a horse feeding opportunity for them with the neighbouring property.

Great for a short break

Had a great weekend here with a large group of friends. Place was perfect with a pool and games room and ducks wandering by the house each day. Close to Foster too for a day trip. Would stay again.

Excellent weekend away

Was a pleasure to have stayed at Mike and Christines property this week. Great local stay in a quiet setting. The space was massive and provided more than enough room for our group to enjoy the scenic setting.Would definitely return for another weekend outting.

Our family of 14 found this stay perfect for us. The grand kids loved the pool and tennis court and the adults loved the common areas and the pool table. It was the small things that impressed us too. Condiments, body wash, conditioner, sun block, insect repellent and toilet paper were supplied. Mike the host was responsive to my messages and he was great. Thanks Mike.

Our Stay at Firefly

This was the perfect place for our extended family holiday. The property & cottage were spacious and comfortable, and the pool and entertaining deck were the highlight. The host was very accomodating and hospitable, would highly recommend!

Great group getaway

We really enjoyed the space and privacy afforded by the property. The flexible configuration of sleeping arrangements was great for our group and not something easily found in accommodation options. Overall a much enjoyed rural getaway.

Mike was a great host! Communication was amazing, Mike answered all of my questions. The property was beautiful, exactly as described and the pool was the cream on the top with many hours spent in there. Our family gathering for a 70th birthday was made memorable with such a beautiful setting and thoroughly enjoyed by our family of 16 with plenty of spaces for everyone to spread out and enjoy.Thanks again Mike

Nice Weekend Getaway

The property was really nice overall with lots of things to do. The pool was a great place to be cause it was quite hot. We really enjoyed the many facilities available at the property. The hosts Mike and Christine were also super friendly and always happy to help. Overall a really great stay and would recommend to others.

A delightful retreat you won’t want to leave

Mike is warm and friendly host who made it easy for a much anticipated family get together. Our group of 6 adults and 7 teenagers had all the space and facilities to enjoy a great long weekend. The fires and beautiful bush setting were stand outs. Thank you Mike.

Beautiful Place

I Went here with me and my friends (11 of us). this place was perfect. We stayed over a heatwave so the pool was the place to be as well as the nice air conditioning inside. The place looks amazing and many games of pool where played in the games room.
