Beautiful , airy home 50 minutes from Montreal ideal for family gatherings.
With floor to ceiling windows our house is at the end of a 500 meter driveway, tucked into the base of the mountains of the Laurentian forest.
There are 7 individual, private bedrooms with King, Queen and double beds provided.Guests enjoy quiet private space, while the spacious dining and living areas provide ample room for fireside chats and group gatherings.
There are 4.5 bathrooms, two indoor fireplaces.
During Covid we installed an outdoor SPA / HOT TUB ON THE DECK and a fun WINTER ROCKIN' FIREPIT . There are Two Smart TV's , wireless internet, foose ball, 2 indoor jacuzzis, a two person hot steam bath off the master bedroom, large deck with gas BBQ.
Hiking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, trails nearby.
Fully equipped kitchen, all bedding and towels are included.
We can provide, for a small additional fee, regular cleaning services and a firewood concierge.
Dog sledding and 4x4 off-road rentals 10 minutes away. 12 minutes from St. Sauveur for skiing or shopping the outlets.
Mt Tremblant, is 40 minutes north.

The Tree House is in the forest, hence the name.

Actually, I built the original structure, a 24 foot ferro-cement geodesic dome.
It's still there and serves as the dining area , high, bright and airy.
I raised my three kids in this structure. Emma's dolphins and orca's are still on her old bedroom wall.
In 2003-2004 I added a large addition, great living room, solarium, three bedrooms onto the five existing. There's more to enjoy. Radiant heated floors, jacuzzis , fire places that burn the wood I harvest from just outside the house.
It is a house in the forest, a house surrounded by trees, visited by the local wildlife, over a stream, close to our lakes. We ought to bottle the air. It's so clean and reviving.
On clear nights the stars are individual lights, thousands of them.
Yet we are 50 minutes from downtown Montreal . So urban life is accessible in short order.
As are the wonders of the Laurentians: The skiing, snowshoeing, dog-sledding in winter, the maple syrup harvest in the spring, the changing leaves in the autumn, the swimming canoeing and hiking in summer. The blessings of four distinct seasons !
