Such a well equipped, comfortable, and fun place to stay!

Everyone in our party agreed that this was a fantastic place to stay! Crazy as it may sound I even had to bake a wedding cake here and I was able to do it!! It was cozy and comfortable and fun and worked out great for our family! Thank you so much to a very gracious and accommodating host!

We immediately felt comfortable and felt we had all we needed. The host provided a wonderful binder filled with pertinent information we referred to while we were there. There was plenty of parking off the street in this very quiet neighborhood. It was a very lovely stay and plan on returning.

Another lovely stay in this lovely house!

The friend who joined us this year has mobility issues, and there is a route into the house that doesn’t use stairs, which was perfect. We so appreciate the fact that our dogs are welcome; the completely and securely fenced patio is perfect for them. The house has everything you would ever need in it and is super comfortable!

We had an absolutely incredible stay! This quaint and cozy home offered all the amenities you can possibly need and want. Calm, peaceful retreat

This property was in a beautiful location in Jackson. Close to downtown but out of the way and quiet. This property is decorated beautifully and has everything you could possibly need stocked! We really appreciated all the personal touches and the obvious love and care that goes into this property. We will definitely be visiting the Knotty Pine again when we come back to this area!!

We had a wonderful time in this classic, comfortable home. It was on a quiet street, not far from a historical downtown area. The house was very clean. It had everything we needed, and even things we didn't know we needed, like board games, wine, and complementary ice cream bars. We spent a fun evening in the game room, slept well, and really enjoyed the coffee the next morning. The host was great. She made the check in and check out process a breeze. We would stay here again.

Felt like “home”

Communication with the homeowner was fast and impressive. The home is just like the photos. The beds very comfortable. A snack cupboard! (Grandkids enjoyed and we attempted to stock back up) the home is warm, and welcoming. Board games and other family games which we enjoyed. Our family came to visit us and it felt fun and “just like home”. We could not have had a better experience. No more hotels for us!

This house was perfect!! Our host Julie allowed us to check in early and let us stay in the house while we waited for a tow truck. We left the back open and had a dead battery. The house was so well appointed. There were ice cream bars in the freezer and a great selection of coffee!! There was a variety of shampoos and body washes in the showers and large thirsty bath towels. The beds were all very comfy. Great place to stay!’ We will be back!

Just the Best!

Impeccably clean, Exceptionally well stocked, excedded expectations! Very pet friendly, too. We traveled to Jackson with our large labrador retriever for our 45 year old daughters wedding. This lovely vacation rental had everything we could possibly need. After the wedding a couple of family members and our 2 great grandbabies came over to visit for a few hours. The pool table, patio, and baby toys were much appreciated. We have stayed at vacation rentals in PA, MI, WI, AZ, NV and many places in CA...this was one if the Best! Will definately book this place again!

Wonderful stay, highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay, and the pictures just didn’t do this home justice. The sprawling rambler home was very clean and spacious for our family of four adults and two dogs. The kitchen was very well-equipped, and we were able to cook full meals and eat at the large dining table together. The game room was a lot of fun, and we loved that there were so many access points to the back enclosed patio so that our dogs were able to really be a part of our holiday experience. The beds were very comfy, there were lots of extra blankets and pillows, and the extra amenities that the host provided - toiletries, wine, doggie pick up bags - was perfect in case anything we’d forgotten anything. The host truly took great steps to create a welcoming experience. This felt like a home away from home, and we wouldn’t hesitate it all to come back in the future. Great stay, lovely host, good times.

Cozy stay in Jackson

A well appointed, cozy and user friendly house with plenty of space and comfortable beds. An absolute bargain and it will definitely be our go to place when visiting the area in the future. The fully fenced in back area to let the dog out to do their business is spacious and mainly concrete so traveling with the pup is made much easier while staying here. Our little guy appreciated the big box of fun games and pool table while we were happy to have our breakfasts in a kitchen that truly felt like home. Bonus points for quality coffee provided with an up to date full sized coffee maker. The whole house was immaculately clean and tidy but without a strong smell of cleaning products. The checkout instructions were simple and very reasonable. Despite the location that's very convenient to downtown Jackson and a large grocery store, it felt like a quiet suburban street far from any hubbub. In fact, looking out behind the driveway one could see hills, open fields and cows. The host was very helpful and responsive to our questions. Overall A+ rating and an excellent value.

Great Stay in a wonderful house

The house was comfortable, with an incredibly well-stocked kitchen. Julie also supplied an amazing amount of unexpected snack foods, and we took advantage of her generosity. Beds were cozy, heating controls clear. OH, and there was light! Many places just have ambient lighting, which makes it hard if you're a reader. There were lights everywhere (including tons of motion sensor lights). Which was wonderful! We were safe and could see whatever we needed to see (old farts here!).Julie was very responsive throughout our pre-stay and during our time in the house. The location was good. Close to everything in Jackson, and easy access to HWY 49 to go wherever you want.For those with ADA questions: One of our party is mobility impaired, uses a walker to get around, and she got from car to house and around the house with ease. However, showering was a problem. Julie supplied a shower chair, but it fully filled the walk-in shower. The other shower was a tub, and though it had grab-bars, it was impossible for my sister to step into. It was a minor problem, but I'm mentioning it for anyone else who might have ADA questions.Loved the stay!

Wonderful birthday weekend!

Jules was an attentive host from the moment we booked the house. She asked about the children’s ages and sexes so she could coordinate the bedrooms to be age appropriate (my daughter the teen in a beautiful and chic lavender and my son 7 in a space themed bed). She asked about allergies so she could leave snacks m the pantry. We told her it was my birthday weekend and she left cakes pops and ice cream. She had a crate and dog dishes for our fur baby. The house is very clean and has everything you need. The pool table was a hit with the teen and the board games (literally everything you could think of) were fun during our family bbq. The house is in a great older part of town and if surrounded by beautiful nature and turn of the century homes. Not sure where to eat? Jules had a whole binder of menus from the local restaurants. Not sure where to drink? She had info on the wineries. She even has a bottle or two in the fridge chilling for us. Her attention to detail was like no other and we will definitely come again!

The most amazing hostess ever

Jules was by far the most attentive and helpful hostess I have ever encountered! Not only did she communicate in a timely fashion, she went over the top to ensure our stay was more than comfortable, from inquiring about our favorite beverages and then stocking them in the house (red wine and diet Dr Pepper!), providing eight different varieties of ice cream treats in the freezer, snacks and breakfast food in the pantry, fresh fruit on the dining table. Jules was so attentive to providing in this house every little convenience you could imagine, and even ones you didn’t know you cared about but appreciated afterwards (like USB chargers on all the bedside lamps, hallway night lights that automatically illuminated as you made your way to the bathroom in the middle of the night). When we needed places to eat, she made two fabulous recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. And her house is definitely dog-friendly with all sorts of nice touches for our furry friends, like throws on all the furniture, doggy poop bags, a good airing area for them to relieve themselves. After texting with her a few times, I felt like we were already friends so I was thrilled we got to actually meet in person when she stopped by to have a clog fixed that she had already warned us about before we arrived. I wish I were coming to this area more because I would most definitely stay here again! This house is her pride and joy and it shows. You cannot go wrong booking a stay here :)

The Best Stay EVER!!!!

This is a long overdue review of a wonderful stay that we recently had in Jackson. The house was cozy, comfortable and spacious. We stayed for 5 nights for Valentine’s Day and had a wonderful time. The host was very quick to respond to any questions and gave numerous great recommendations for restaurants and anything else we had questions about. The host went above and beyond for us and also provided drinks specific to our likings in addition to numerous extra treats like cookies, ice cream and other assorted items. There was also a Keurig machine including Hot Chocolate for those of us who don’t drink coffee. There was a pool table in the garage and lots of extras such as poop bags and paw wipes provided for your dog. The beds were very comfortable and the bath sheets were so big and absorbent that we have already ordered some for ourselves for home. There was a washer and dryer for use, flashlights and electric lanterns. There was a flat screen tv in every room and a large flat screen tv in the living room complete with cable including Netflix which had a great selection of movies that we loved. There was a “In Case You Forgot Something” basket in the master bathroom which had basic and beyond items that were available to us. There was also an informational binder on the kitchen table which had a lot of information to restaurants, things to do and see and more. The host even provided free passes to the Old Sutter Hill Flea Market. We vacation in Sutter Creek at least once or twice each year and we will DEFINITELY come back here…that is, as long as it’s available, because this is a true HIDDEN JEWEL!
