Attention all Mountain Bikers - this is your 1BR condo! Conveniently located in Powderidge with an updated mud room including hanging bike storage for 2 bikes. The unit comes complete with Queen bed in the main bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. The kitchen is complete with full sized amenities (refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, oven, air fryer and more)! The outside deck includes a gas grill and patio seating for 4. You won't want to miss the morning sunrise! W/D in unit! Powderidge is arguably one of the best locations only .5 miles from the village but peaceful enough to enjoy a quiet evening. In the winter, we are locate less than 200 yard from the powderidge lifts/trails. In the summer, you can easily drop on to easy street by bike or hike! Shuttle stop is just outside your door on Powderidge drive.
Fantastic place to stay due to convenience to Finger Trails, can drop onto Easy Street to start your riding day. Unit has been greatly updated. Bike racks are fantastic addition.
It was a very neat, cozy, and comfortable rental. However, most all amenities/restaurants and resort activities were not open whatsoever when we visited in mid-October so that was definitely a down side. However, peak season/s like the summer and winter would probably have much more to enjoy so we may consider staying again during these times in the future as the rental itself was very nice.
Awesome place for my wife, myself, and 2 dogs. Great access to the downhill Mtb trails. This place had 2 bike racks so we could store our bikes safely without worry. The deck was great and I appreciate the propane grill. Definitely a place Iâll be booking again! Communication with the host was fantastic.
Place was so clean, quiet, 50 yards to the slopes, kitchen had more amenities than I have, no need to eat out. Perfect for a quick trip, will rebook!!!
Couldnât have asked for a better place, lots of parking, everything was clean and comfortable, the heated mud room is a huge bonus, especially skiing with young kids.
While it was slightly tight with 4 adults, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We had everything we needed and loved the ski in/ski out. Great location. Quiet. Would definitely stay again.
We had a wonderful stay. It is such a great location for skiing/snowboarding. The heated mud room was great for our gear. We enjoyed having our dog with us and it was overall perfect for our family of 4. Thank you for the memories and we hope to return soon!
We are so thankful for James allowing us to check-in several days in advance of our original trip so that we could seek refuge from the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. This trip and stay at the condo was healing on several levels!
We loved the new renovation!
Better than most pet friendly accommodations.
Very convenient location away from the crowds at the main resort village. We will be returning.
From the beginning, James was terrific! Communication was quick and helpful. Location was convenient to village. Property had everything we needed for a week long visit. Loved all the extras for our pup:)
Really enjoyed our stay here and it exceeded our expectations! The space was clean and updated and was the nicest weâve experienced in our 4 trips to Snowshoe. Great communication from the host with well organized instructions as well as being dog friendly. Will easily recommend to others.
We had the pleasure of staying at this home for an extended weekend, and we loved it! The heated mudroom was so nice, and we loved that we could bring our dog on our trip with us. The house was well furnished, nicely renovated, and clean. We hope we can stay here again on our next trip to Snowshoe!
Overall we had a really great stay! I loved that we were able to bring our dogs and the heated entry was wonderful and great for drying out gear overnight. The place was clean and well stocked. The term âski outâ is not accurate as you are walking across a parking lot and down some stairs to actually access it. The biggest issue we had is that the people in the upstairs condo were doing some renovations so there was constant noise starting at 8am almost every morning besides Christmas Day. You can hear every step-so it would be an issue even if they werenât making construction noise. Like every step. It really was an issue as I have teenage kids who donât want to be woken up at 8am or earlier. The bedroom is on the outside wall so you really do hear every noise. This wasnât a huge deal but if you need it completely dark to sleep, the outside lights(not controlled by a switch but by the building) shine directly into the windows. There are blinds but it definitely doesnât block all the light. We slept fine, but I know people can be sensitive to that.
My partner and I have been visiting Snowshoe for a few years now and weâve stayed at several different powderidge units. This has got to be my favorite! The place is nice and clean and NOT carpeted! The living room is also open. James and Ashley were super responsive when I had questions about the check-in. We will def try to stay here again next year, if itâs not already booked up!
This property was as described and pictured. We loved the full kitchen with Keith, regular coffee pot, toaster, air fryer etc. We cooked many meals and mostly had everything we needed. A few more large glasses wouldâve been good. Loved having washer/dryer in unit. The sleeper sofa was pretty comfortable. We also liked the mud room with plenty of hooks and ski storage etc. We would like to stay here again.
We spent three days and wished we could stay more. Wonderfully kept apartment visited by deer who we fed from our little balcony. Modern appliances in well stocked kitchen. Thanks to the owners for walking us through every step and excellent communication over all.
Needless to say about a picturesque nature and a crisp mountain air. We visited nearby attractions such as Cass Railroad, Green Bank Observatory, and caverns..
Make sure you stock up on food, as grocery stores are scarce. I mean, at least 30-40 minutes away.of course there is a convenience store, but thatâs just that.
I think the best review was given by my children when we turned to a main resort road:â Mom, when are we coming back?â
Thank you!
It was great. Only a couple things...toilet paper not stocked, we had to empty the dishwasher, and there were still towels in the dryer that we had to fold and put away and the comforter was still wet in the washing machine. The fireplace was also full of burned wood and ashes. We didn't really want to have to "work" (LOL) when we got there but if this is the expectation, we'll know next time. The owner was wonderful and easy to communicate with! The condo was beautiful, well stocked, clean and cozy. We would definitely stay there again! We would say though, it should not be advertised as a "ski out" because there is no way to get to the slopes except by going out the front door, going up the stairs and walking through the parking lot to get to the slopes. It would be GREAT if there were stairs on the back deck to get down to the slopes - THEN you could call it a "ski out". LOL!! Anyway, in all honesty, it's a great little condo - cozy, warm and a great view!! I'd definitely recommend it!! Thank you so much!!
