Situated at the end of the cul de sac, this property is right next to the gated walkway through the sand dunes to the white sand beach. Down the end of the road (300m) is the cafe and surf club and a short walk further along is the Oasis Store for all your grocery and convenience needs.
Ruakaka Beach is a quiet space to spend some R&R although it's busier over Xmas and New Years!
The property is well laid out with the master bedroom and ensuite at one end of the house with the 2 other bedrooms and bathroom down the other end. The garage is great for storing your bikes, boards and things with the laundry facilities by the back door.
There is a corner gazebo outside the dining room for evening relaxing or reading a book at any time of day!

Well provisioned home. Easy access to the beach and close to the patrolled area. Hosts very available for small issue with some power after the storm. Would thoroughly recommend this home as it had indoor and outdoor areas which meant the odd rainy day we experienced was not an issue. Thank you to the hosts for such a well presented home, with some very personal touches

Beauty by the beach

A wonderful 3 bed, 2 bath beach house in a quiet cul de sac minutes from a wonderful family friendly beach. The house and garden had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Very comfortable and clean. The nearby beach was a favourite for swimming, walking and watching families having a nice time. The walk to the beach is also very nice. The owner was very responsive to any questions and very lovely to communicate with. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely home next to the beach!

Stayed for 3 nights and we absolutely loved every second of it! More than enough room for the five of us that stayed. The house is literally right next to a track that is an easy 5 minute walk to Ruakākā beach. The home is in perfect condition with a lovely inviting scent and was superbly clean upon arrival. At the end of a cul de sac, it is the perfect quiet spot to unwind with friends on the back patio. The owner was super helpful during the entire stay and was still super awesome after a few mishaps. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because this place deserves it!

Hello Tauke, the key for opening the doors was inside the property and instructions on locating those were left for you as well as emailed to you. You didn't get in touch throughout your stay to advise of any issues as I would have immediately spoken with you. This is a dissappointing review which could have been avoided.

OUTSTANDING ACCOMMODATION

The house is lovely and well set out. It is very clean and so close to the beach. I loved walking down the beach to the cafe to get a morning coffee. Was quicker to walk down the beach than the streets. The most beautiful beach - oh my goodness. It's pristine. It was unfortunate we arrived the day Cyclone Gabrielle arrived too, however we felt very secure and safe. Jo and Chad were amazing, checking in to make sure we were ok, provided a generator as the power was out for 3 days. All these things were totally out of their control, but they went above and beyond to make sure we were ok. We really appreciated their care and assistance. Best accommodation, best working holiday, best hosts. Highly recommend A++

Fabulous!

We stayed eight nights in this quiet and attractive beach house, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The beds were comfortable and the house was generally very well equipped. We loved the wonderfully quiet location, with the pristine beach a short stroll away. The online listing states that there are three bedrooms (which there are) with two queen beds, and two singles in the third bedroom. We discovered a queen sized bed in all three bedrooms, and I was worried briefly about where we'd all fit as I had planned the single beds for our two tween/teenage boys. Then we discovered the carpeted garage had another bed (a king single?) and it turned out the boys were delighted to each have their own space. Perhaps the online listing should reflect this however. But it was a very minor point for us. Joanne was great with communication; friendly and accomodating. We highly recommend this beach house.
