We stayed at this property for a week and it felt like being home! Home was beautiful and well stocked. Comfortable living and sleeping and gorgeous view! Beautiful view from all windows that looked out to the water. Host was amazing and helpful with any questions we had and even gave list of places to get groceries before arriving. We would love to go back and stay some day! Had chairs to take to beach area that was right up road and everything you need to hang out outside. Grill, games, tables and chairs and a dock that we used every single day to just sit and watch all the beautiful things. 10/10 recommend this home to stay on vacation!

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. This was a great place to stay while exploring central NS. If you plan to grill, be sure to bring charcoal. The view and the cool ocean breeze made for a relaxing time while sipping on a glass of wine or morning coffee from the deck. We would definitely stay here again.

The hosts, the location, the property - all are top notch! We really enjoyed our time on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. The property has all the necessary amenities and more. We will definitely come back for another visit soon!

House was beautiful and looked even better than the pictures. We had a small issue with the dryer and the owners responded immediately and had it fixed within an hour! I would highly recommend this property!

A slice of paradise

A wonderful property in a great location on the south shore of Nova Scotia. Close to Bayswater Beach and an easy drive to both Hubbards and Chester. Heather is a wonderful host and the property is well equipped and comfortable. Highly recommended!

We were only there two days but lovely. Only complaint was the weather but we learned a long time ago not to let that ruin our time away! Well equipped with everything we needed. If you stay go to the Tuna Blue for a meal ..awesome food and a lovely place to go…

This is a newer build. Great view of the ocean with a small Oceanside deck across the road. A bit of a drive to services, but close to a public beach. Great stay.

Location was perfect and the property was incredible. We enjoyed a fully functional kitchen and the most spectacular view of the ocean. The house was immaculately clean and very cozy. We also were visited one morning by a momma deer and her baby. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we can’t wait to come back!

A true gem

This property was above and beyond our expectations. The nearby beach is calm and perfect for kids. Not only is it well equipped, but the location is tranquil and has an incredible view of the ocean and the coast. We would return in a heartbeat.

Ocean Front Cottage

Thank you for opening your house to us! We greatly enjoyed our stay and made some wonderful memories! Also thank you for being pet friendly!House is very comfortable, clean, and as desirable on the website. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy quiet and relaxing vacation! When you are staying in Bayswater, don’t miss farmer markets in Hubbard on Saturday and Lunenberg on Thursday! Both are amazing! Thanks again!

Excellent cottage. Great hosts. Only issues are: Only one shower. Upstairs has a nice standalone bath, but no shower. It's located about 20 minutes from stores, in either direction, which might be an issue for some.

We can't say enough about this place. Like others have said, the pictures don't do it justice. The views are spectacular from the house on the hill. Seals visited us most days and the wildlife was spectacular to watch. From the upstairs window (and the dock), you can see Peggy's Cove (gorgeous drive) light house way in the distance to the left. We walked to the beach most days and the area was very quiet. Hubbards, Chester, Mahones Bay and Lunenburg were easy day drives. Tuna Blue for lunch or dinner is a must. We went 4 times in a week. Nicest owner and great food. Be sure to stop at a grocery on your way in to have some supplies for the first couple of days (the kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need to cook), then the Independent grocery and liquor/wine store is an easy drive to Chester. Be sure to park and walk out to the peninsula. Kiwi's for breakfast was delightful. It rained 2 days so we enjoyed a ride across the island to Wolfville for lunch at the gorgeous Lightfoot & Wolfville vineyard. The woodfire pizza and Caesar salad were worth the drive!! Oh, if you go to Lunenburg eat at the Half Shell - best raw tuna and chowder and we picked up cooked lobsters at Dory Mates to take back to the house for dinner - yummy! Mahone Bay has great shopping! Halifax was a big success, too. We had a delicious lunch a the Bicycle Thief. Funny how we kept missing a lobster roll and had the BEST one in the airport of all places. We adored our trip!!!

Exceeded expectations.

Property was very well presented. Great relaxing location.House was extremely clean and well supplied with supplies etc. Way more than expected. Every thing in perfect working order in the house. Great family beach just a 10 min walk from property. Very family oriented. Owner was very easy to communicate with if needed. I would highly recommend as relaxing environment. I will return without hesitation.

Beautiful!

The cottage was beautiful! Very clean and stocked with extras (spices, tea…) The owners were very easy to reach and answered any questions we had. It was a little out of the way for some activities, but worth it. Can see the ocean from almost every room and the ocean breeze in the afternoon/evening was very relaxing.The kids liked having the loft area with their own bathroom. We would definitely stay here again should we return to Nova Scotia.

This was an excellent place to stay to discover much of NS. Day trips are very doable to Halifax, Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, and, although a little further, wine country in Wolfville. Chester and Hubbards are a little closer and offer a number of excellent shops and restaurants. Returning to number 7 is like coming home to relaxing luxury with an outstanding view. The house is very modern and well equipped for towels, sheets as well as kitchen appliances and utensils. Finally, there are many unnecessary but great touches such as funky martini jug and glasses, champagne flutes and even a Brita water jug in the fridge. We would highly recommend this house.

Wonderful Home and View!

The home looked exactly as the pictures showed. It was spotless, roomy and had a beachy vibe to it. It had everything we required for our stay and the hosts were responsive and very helpful! The view was spectacular - we enjoyed our morning coffees watching dolphins and a seal from the dock. A buck and doe visited the property a few times. I would highly recommend staying here. We toured to surrounding towns during the day and returned to the comfort of the house each evening. We would 100% stay here again. It’s a beautiful home and even better view!

Oceanside getaway

Cottage was exactly like i thought it would be but even closer to the ocean than i expected. Super clean, super fresh and tastefully done. Only way to improve that i saw was maybe some screens in the master bedroom to hear the waves at night and maybe spin the couch and chaise to view the ocean. Everything else was absolutely perfect. We will be back!
