Immensely convenient surroundings. We're situated on Timothy Lane, only a 1 min walk to Melbourne Central railway station with access to everything all under the one roof.



You're only a stone's throw away from QV, Emporium, Myer, David Jones, Chinatown, Swanston St and more.



Great boutique bars, cafes and attractions around the area.



I've included most of my favourite places and more in my extensive "Local Recommendations Guidebook" on this listings page, so please feel free to check em' out for awesome things to do and eat in the CBD area.



Getting Around:

Easy. Surrounded by trams, cabs, buses & trains, it makes getting in, out & around the city extremely convenient.



If you're not a fan of walking, there is a tram stop right at corner of Elizabeth & Little Lonsdale St which is only a 1 min walk from where we are.



Most importantly, all trams within the city grid are FREE. Just look out for the "FREE tram zone" signs.



No problems hitching a cab or getting on a bus on Elizabeth St if you would like to head out of the city.



If you plan to take a train, the Melbourne Central railway station is just across the road.



If you drive, the nearest paid parking lot is available at “WILSON PARKING” - 265 LaTrobe St which is just a 4min walk away from us. Alternatively you may look online for other suitable parking options.



If you just need to park your car temporarily for an hour or so, then you may observe the paid street parking signs around us.



Other Things to Note:

Key collection instructions will be sent after booking. Kindly share your estimated arrival time to help us prepare for your check-in.



This pad accommodates 4 adults comfortably but a max of 6 overnight. Any more than 4 adult guests overnight will attract an extra AU$29 per night, per additional guest.



The sleeping arrangement for the 5th and 6th adult would be on a 3-seater sofa bed which folds out to a queen.

Booked accommodation through Lastminute.com.au, received email from Vrbo Australia confirming reservation, then another email from Advante Homes confirming booking, no other correspondence. Then needed to supplied photo I.D. to the owner of the property. (not happy suppling personal I.D. to a 4th party, concerned it was a SCAM). Arrived at the accommodation at 1.00pm no instructions supplied to get into the property? No front desk at address, left standing in the street. Rang contact, no answer, left messages no response. My daughter then spoke to a "Computer" was of no assistance, whatsover! Eventually spoke to a "person" we had now been outside for 2 hours!!! We had made a minimum 12 phone calls. Then were texted instructions, like Mission Impossible, we walked to a 24 hour cafe and collected our key from a marked key safe. Apartment was tiny, (clever photography) beds were fine, bedrooms and bathroom clean. Not so the dining / kitchen area, broken vacummn on the balcony. One roller blind broken, as was door handle to balcony. Clothes dryer full of sheets from previous tenants. On the plus side, it was relatively quiet, no noise from within the building at all, mainly occupied by longterm students, which was a plus. AND, good location. Not ideal for anyone over 25, or people without a degree in telecommunications, or prior experience as a Spy! Lastminute are just a conduit, they accept no real responsibility, effectively the just forward your details.
