Perfect!

We enjoyed our mini getaway in this beautiful, comfortable modern country home. The owners are wonderful to deal with and the home and property offer all the conveniences one could wish for, in a beautiful setting.

We have stayed at many VRBO properties, and Ironwood ranks among the best. Excellent communication, superb attention to detail throughout the home, engaging and thoughtful design. Very comfortable throughout. Great kitchen if you prefer to eat in. And great hiking right out the front door. Highly recommended.

The stay was amazing for our group of 8 golfers.The owner was very responsive to any questions prior to our arrival.The owner met us for our arrival and took the time to ensure we understood every aspect of her property.They were even kind enough to provide pastries for our arrival.Would recommend for friends or family get togethers.

Perfect Spot

Ironwood is an absolutely lovely getaway! The location is great for access to skiing, snowshoeing and visiting quaint local towns. The property is beautifully maintained, comfy and very cozy. Laurie was a delight to deal with! Our little group have all said we look forward to another visit to Ironwood!

Absolutely Wonderful stay!

We rented this home last year & couldn’t wait to return! We came with our daughter, son in law & three grandchildren ages 10,8 & 3. The house is spacious, comfortable & gorgeous! We hiked on the trail right outside the door & despite wet weather we loved our misty family walk! The kids skied with friends close by & we loved returning to our warm cosy house! Thank you Laurie & Sunil for making our stay so memorable!

Winter Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at Ironwood! The house is stunning with a well equipped kitchen, games space and a fantastic family room to chill by the fire. Communication with Laurie and Sunil was excellent. Super hiking close by and cross country facility almost next door. The space was absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend it! Would definitely book again.

A wonderful stay!

My husband & I , our daughter, son in law & three grandchildren , 9,7 & 2 had an absolutely fabulous five nights at this beautiful farmhouse! Our grandchildren didn’t want to leave & are already busy planning another visit! Laurie met us & gave us a great tour of the house which made us feel welcome & knowledgeable about how things work ( locks etc). It is a spacious, warm home with a lovely well stocked kitchen which was fun to make meals in! The beds were comfortable & the property is gorgeous! We walked on the Bruce Trail in the rain & fog & loved coming back to the warm cosy house! Thank you Laurie & Sunil! We can’t wait to return!

Amazing Place!

We had a wonderful stay at Ironwood. Laurie met us at the property and gave us a quick orientation tour and made sure we knew we could contact her at any time. We felt at home the minute we stepped inside. We really appreciated the welcome basket that was waiting for us and the digital guidebook. It really was key to helping us settle in with minimal effort. We found the house to be well organized and comfortable and really enjoyed relaxing in such a pretty country setting. One of the highlights for us was the easy access to the Bruce Trail, which conveniently has an access point right beside the property. The weekend away was just what we needed! We will definitely be in touch for another “escape weekend” soon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
