Le rez-de-chaussée comprend une grande salle familiale avec TV, garde-robe, salle de bain complète, deux chambres, une cuisine ouverte et une salle à manger. La deuxième chambre peut être convertie en espace ouvert ou en deuxième salon pour accueillir de plus grands rassemblements et événements. Le deuxième étage comprend trois chambres à coucher, une salle de bain complète, un coin lecture, une salle de lavage et un accès à la grande terrasse du deuxième étage.

Toute la maison et la propriété de 4 acres vous appartiennent. Il n'y a pas de voisins et L'accès au canal Rideau se trouve à quelques pas par un sentier menant aux écluses Clowes. Notre ferme, Heritage Stables, est à seulement 3 minutes à pied.

Propriété historique avec caractère et charme qui vous transporte dans le temps. Boiseries artisanales originales et meubles d'époque associés à la commodité d'une cuisine et d'une salle de bains modernes.

The host was responsive when we contacted him. All amenities were great. Well stocked (condiments, spices, coffee). Extra linens, kleenex, toilet paper. Very appreciated. It was chilly in the house but to be fair we were there on one of the coldest nights of the year. Below -30C. Would definitely recommend. In fact, one of our group will be booking a family trip there soon.

This property is exceptional! It contained everything you might require and more. We had a good experience with the kayaks and being able to access the dock for fishing. The place was truly enjoyable for the children.

We had a lovely time staying at the property. There was so much character in this beautiful, old home. Each bedroom was spacious and the bathrooms were recently renovated. There was lots of social spaces and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck looking at the stars. The check-in and our processes were easy and we loved that there were so many little touches that made the stat super notable, like coffee, sugar, condiments and laundry soap. We would absolutely stay here again.

Tim booked our Heritage Stone house for his work crew that was completing a job in the area. His employees were respectful of the house rules and did a great job cleaning up after their stay. I’d welcome any future work crews looking for accommodation in the area to stay here.

Perfect for our family vacation

We were looking for a place to stay for a long weekend with family, and this was better than any we found from the listing alone. Upon arrival the building itself was an amazing piece of history, and despite being 200 years old it was the cleanest and best equipped vrbo we've stayed at. Everything you could need for an amazing vacation, from the kitchen to the dock, was here. Thanks to the owner Jake for the stay, we will definitely be coming back.

Amazing getaway!

Family BBQ was a hit!

Beautiful and family friendly

We really enjoyed our stay! Gorgeous old house with so much original character. Lots for kids to do right out the back door. We also took advantage of the horseback riding offered by the host just down the road - the kids loved it. :) Well supplied with enough of everything (bedding, chairs, hot water, etc) for our group of 9.

The beautiful Christmas decorations, the charm of this heritage house combined with modern renovations made this a perfect place for our family get together. The home came equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. This is our favorite VRBO that we have stayed in by far! A beautiful location and close enough to Ottawa and the surrounding communities. The owners were able to answer any questions that we may have immediately. We can't thank them enough for allowing us to stay in this beautiful home!

Wonderful stay in historic home

Happy with our choice of summer vacation this year. This home had a perfect blend of old world charm and modern amenities. It was clean and welcoming with everything we needed to have a relaxing stay in this part of Ontario The hosts touched base through the week by Vrbo chat to give us opportunity to ask any questions and ensure we had what we needed. The location was a good home base for us. Quiet while we were at home and close to many local towns and Ottawa for daily ventures out of the house. We appreciated very much that we could bring our pets. Thank you so much for sharing this home with us.you can see the love and care put into the restoration and modifications put into it.
